Oh, YES! Very important point! I hadn't thought about it until I read this comment, but that is just to say that I was 100% with you, getting the most out of the info you presented. It's amazing how so many supposedly "professional" speakers are hooked on "um/y'know"...I will always just go elsewhere, just because it is so freaking distracting. So, bravo to you for your polished and professional presentation...you have my vote.

no problem at all. These are meant to be as simple as possible and if someone is a little more advanced they can skip ahead.
5 years later, I finally got the d3200 that I wanted handed down to me. This video was a life saver. You thought maybe we would complain about the length. But THANK YOU for going into depth with explaining the WHOLE camera, setting you prefer and while also making it fun to watch.
Duuuude, you just made my camera better. Or rather, you just really introduced me to my camera. It doesn't suck anymore. People say I take good pictures but are annoyed by the blinking light when I'm not using flash. Now you've taught me how to turn it off. Thank you cuz! BTW, I am telling people to follow you.

It’s an interesting camera thus far. I’m not sure if he mentions the +/- button for adjusting exposure(?), but it’s helpful. Also have noticed Nikon ups the mid-level light amount and color level on the rearview camera display when photos are taken in Auto mode vs manual mode. This was very confusing at first.

I absolutely loved this. Thank you. I'm just starting out and I had no idea what somethings were on my D3400. One thing I will say, I've been practicing taking a few very low light photos, and while you're trying to focus, the INFO screen was just too bright to see through the camera. So, I changed the INFO screen to only turn on when I select the INFO button on the top of the screen!

wow wow wow , I just bought my first D3400 with a 1000mm lens and a 70 -300mm lens , this video was very helpful in my First setup , I have a lot of Mil Air Helos that fly circuits looking forward to some awesome shots

Much appreciated quick run through the bits that confuse. Coming from roll film using my Rolex and Hasselblad this transition is made easier by your video. Started off using wet plate cameras full and quarter plate back in the 1950's.
Unbelievable video. You have a great personality and voice for presentation. You really anticipate what someone would want to ask if they were speaking to you.I hope your other videos are the sam, I am sure that they are. It was the D3300 Users Guide that brought me to this channel. I ended up watching it twice all the way through. I haven't been subscribed ever since that video was new, but I subbed after I found it, a couple months before I actually bought that camera in November. But, I must make a comment on how the D3400 is actually a slight downgrade in a way. It doesn't even have an external mic jack like the D3300 does. :( Not a good tradeoff for ever so slightly improved battery life.
