Remember that there are 37 states in Nigeria plus the FCT-Abuja as Administrative capital, whilst Lagos is the commercial hub. Most of these 37 states have an international airport or local one, and are almost like separate countries in Africa. The nearest to Lagos is Ogun state and Ibadan Oyo state, but they don't have the kind of Airport to land such a large international Aircraft, so obviously the Airport in Cotonou Benin Republic should be the nearest to Lagos
