@@ogbean82 Maybe the Psycho Mormon dude could’ve worded it better, like, be nicer about it. But he does bring up a good point. Painting without respirators is not the smartest thing. However, CrazyQuad doesn’t do it often, so he will be fine. But I saw the pro painter do it, and if he does it often, that’s not good.
Good to have talented family members. Great job cousin Chris. Love the truck without the stickers and stuff too. Also - that MR-2 is sick. My friend's dad had one back when i was in high school, that car was so much fun.
Kudos to your family. He really cares and is passionate about the work he puts out. And tell him we need a reveal of that Toyota once it's done before it goes back to the customer!
man iv, ben painting for years and i must say its quite nice to see someone with the flow of painting dialed in it took me years to perfect my own paint flow. very nice sir very nice
It's looking like an undercover cop truck. But seriously, it looks excellent. I painted truck caps five-six days a week nine hours a day for two years and gotta say, your cousin is a man who know exactly what he's doing. When it comes to auto body techs there are those that "get it" and there are those that don't. Now don't get more wrong, the ones that don't "get it" can still go on to successful careers in the auto body industry. What "it" is, is for certain people what they learn about autobody and painting in a school or as an apprentice somewhere just made sense right away. Your cousin has "it". He has the ability to assess the situation at hand and be able to use hi logic and natural common sense to determine what the reaction to the situation will be and takes action. He's done it long enough that it's become second nature. He probably could have sanded and painted that cap while half asleep and still have it turn out good. I've had the pleasure of working with a couple guys a lot like him. I always tried to follow my dads advice about having two ears and one mouth, I learned a lot from those guys just by watching and listening. The cap came out great, I look forward to seeing the truck all cleaned up. Nice job
I love it when you can bring in the family.❤ Such a great job! I had no idea that you could take those stickers off!👍 The truck looks RAD!🍻 Waiting patiently on your next camping video😉🤷♀️ I love watching them. I’ve been hitting up older ones.😂
I’m a true jack of all trades because I do everything myself but I have mastered none. It humbles me when you see a master of his Trade at Work! The way he goes into explaining shows his passion and knowledge! Thanks for filming this Mike!
Great video I have a good enough understanding to know that I know nothing about painting! Very good explanation and great questions to help throughout the process looks sweet !
❤Your cousin was very thorough, you are fortunate to have family with skills. I love gray but after seeing the white on white it looked like it was made like that. Enjoyed. 💜💛💚🤍💙
My son has worked in the autobody business at age 17. Now in his 40s and his boss loves him. He is teaching his daughter how to do things and she now wants to follow his path. LOL It is actually nice to understand him since being around my son but its awesome to actually watvh it. Being painted. Ive only seen after the job is done. My son does cars though not canopys.
It looks really nice without the stickers and badges. Nice clean badass look! Great job by you and your cousin and crew. Peace. Can't wait to see you camp in the new rig once you get it all setup.
Awesome, great to see the furry foreman on the job 🐾 just like here 😉 and what that gentleman doesn't know about his craft is not worth knowing..love and peace from Australia as always 🦘😘😘
Awesome!!! Your uncle seems like a super nice fella. It's cool that he takes time to explain everything hes doing...I enjoy learning about stuff like this! Great video man!
The topper looks really great! You were talking about putting a little something on the sides where that badge was removed. In a past video there was an animal that you had laughed about being your trademark. Not sure if it was a skunk or what. But maybe you could have that made up to go in the area where the badges were removed. Looking good!!👍🇺🇸
Mike that Cuda is badass. My father in his infinite shame had a 71' Barracuda he bought from my grandfather's inheritance which he totaled one night on a bender. That car would've been worth a lot if he kept it.
If that's a 1st Gen MR2, it's an 84 through 89. I had one. It was a bad ass sports car. Was clocked by a VA State Trooper at 123 on I-495 around 2 AM. Yeah, it was expensive. But f'n worth it! Bro. I'm loving the mods to your truck. Those wheels/tires were a great choice. I do agree that it looks amazing without the topper, though. P..S. your cuz was amazing in explaining everything.
Mike you gotta post more often, no video is a bad video > grow this damn channel .. lets go oh by the way love the guy with smoke in his mouth while moving the cab ,,, hehehe props to your cousin
I like how your cousin took the time to explain the process. He gives me that favorite teacher vibe! 🤭
Well said. You're absolutely right. I felt like I learned a thing or two.
@@davidjames2431 Except not wearing respirators.
Totally agree!
@@psychomormon4932Gotta find something to complain about. I bet you complain while you're asleep.

he did a wonderful job Mike, the truck looks awesome 👍
It always amazes me how wheels and tires can completely change a vehicles look. Cap looks better now that it matches.
Wheels and tires change the look completely for sure
crazy your cuz is awesome should bring him out camping one day
Awesome video CQ!!! Now for the CQ emblem!!! 😊😊😊
Shell looks awesome ! And yes, the wheels and level kit really make a huge improvement in overall look.

I like the 4x4 on the bed. Especially with the white. It adds classiness and beefiness.
Great upgrade. Thanks for bringing us along
