My Wife got discharged from the hospital the day before yesterday after her kidney transplant. At 1 o’clock this morning we had to call an ambulance to bring her to the local hospital and then we went and sat there for about seven hours before they had another ambulance show off that was designed to travel long distances so they brought her two hours away to Portland, Maine And now they are admitting her again. Everybody keep her in your prayers. Thank you, Mike for making these videos. It really helps the time pass by a little easier.
an idea for the build: maybe two cabinets on either side with a butchers block or just wood on top to form a kind of counter space also adding extra storage on either side. you could even put the cooler in the middle and build some sort of opening mechanism like your bed so you can still functionally use the cooler. but have more space to cook and spread your things while also storing your items in the cabinets.
Hey Mike home Depot has a butcher block top for a roll away tool box it's in tool dept I use for prep instead of risking ice chest top it's 18x26x 5/8 perfect as a table top awesome historical place
As I've said before. I love these kind of adventures. Camping plus learning some new things about history. And the Smithsonian has definitely taken items and even hid the truth about pre European finds. But great video brother
Videos stoppp my panic attacks...thank you...they are debilitating 😢 so its a big deal in my world...can barely handle it...and you're so calm and focused on staying in the moment!! Thank you for sharing❤ good luck
People hit the like button, jeez! Very cool spot, Mike! Lots of information about the historical significance of that area online. Apparently, because it was in a valley with hills surrounding it, they could see anyone approaching their area. Very smart people.
Mike you look so happy in your new truck. I am really happy for you. I just love toying camping with you because you are so calm and laid back which makes camping fun. Your smile is so big and makes me smile back. But I’m sure everyone sees your awesome qualities. Thanks for letting me come along. 💙💜🩵🧡
I just ran across your videos by chance... I really liked this one and plan to follow you.The Native American history is cool. I like watching how you cook in your truck as well.Your so calm it's easy watching and listening to you!Thank You for sharing your travels.I would love to be young again and travel as you are.
Love this guy’s setup, and if he likes cooking inside his cab fine, but for me l would only be doing all that if it was pouring down raining. Looked like it was a nice evening to be out by the picnic table .
... licks the jar ... "it's my cheese". hahahaha ! Fun vid, cool camp spot. That's like "way out there" in Kansas ! ( an old born and bred Kansas boy here )
Another epic video, incredible campsite, and the weather cooperated. Really enjoyed the little bit of history. Safe travels, looking forward to more of your videos. Travel safe 🏕️🏕️

Just started watching. Couple of things you should get. A small snap together camping table and a small generator that you can charge at home and use for Electric appliances I got both on Amazon. Oh and an air fryer. You can cook anything in it. Now back to the video
Hey Quady, big Scotty enjoying your videos on building your new truck bed and now camping in a heavy storm. Party in Kansas. I was born in Lawrence. Big beer time buddy.
Thanks for making these videos! I recently started my channel after years of watching you and other guys making truck camping look so fun, and I'm so glad I did. Thanks again, and I might have "borrowed" your design for my bed platform too LOL.
Lake Scott? One of my fav lakes to camp at. The hiking trails are great there too, really cool lake and camp ground for 'middle of nowhere'. Love the new bed setup!
You should make the end of your bed frame a door. That way from at end of truck you could access items that u may use easier. Just make a cabinet door with magnetic locking
Thanks for another great video. I like your new sheets,(fitting for your trip). Your new bed looks great, lots more room under it also. Burrito looked tasty. Love the history of the El Cuartelejo Pueblo site. Would love to go look around there to see if a person could find anything.
Awesome spot my friend. Good looking dinner. Enjoyed that Indian site thats really cool. I'm a huge supporter of our Native Americans and their history and culture. Bed is awesome too. Gorgeous area too. Cheers. See you next time bud.
Cool. Watch out for those naders!😂❤ I lived in Salina Ks. And storm chased for 3 years!! I had like 2 jobs but I enjoyed living there. Hated humidity tho..I'm a born CA gal. Now I'm back in CA in high desert. Hot and dry. But way expensive!!! Pah!❤
The Native people were known as the Quartelejo band Quady. The name comes from the Spanish word cuartelejo, which means “old building or barracks”. FASCINATING site!!!!!! [LOVE a little bit of History! Thanks Quady🙂 [I did a little research on a hunch and INDEED Native Americans indeed were a part of that.] The Plains Apache cohabitated with the Puebloans. (and suffered much religious persecution) Puebloans joined the Plains Apache between 1620 and 1680.
I loved watching I'm starting to feel better and I love the new bed 🛌 looks great awesome food and thanks for reading 📚 about it all so cool 😎 can't wait for the next video.
I really enjoy watching your videos. All the camping videos you make from your set up to your meals are all enjoyable. I pay attention to what you do for camping, and I take the tips and use them myself when I go camping. I use a tent ⛺️. I just love the outdoors. Keep up the good content man. Your doing wonderful at it

Yeah man, trying new gear is a huge part of truck camping! Whether its a new bed, a new heater, a new cooking system.. whatever. Sometimes I get more fired up over the gear than the actual location! And all the cool stuff has already been found and reconstructed, thats why I dont get too concerned when wackos try to vandalize irreplaceable paintings and stuff, because I know for sure that the originals are kept safe and sound in a cave bunker or something.. lol
I guess you didn’t catch my comment on another vid. But twist the pot stand onto the JetBoil burner like you do with the pot. It’ll take some of the wobble out of it. 👍 Oh! And the little orange triangle burner can stands actually do help as well.
Your back going to appreciate that firmness of the new mattress/bed. Wife wants a California King mattress. Im all gimme a Quady bed! 😂 Meal idea: rope sausage, new potatoes (canned even), Allen's Seasoned green beans, and a beef bouillon cube. Good sliced bread. Yum! What I had while watching. 🍺
Oh baby a new crazyquady adventure?! Second I see these in my feed I drop everything to come along for the ride! Edit: just noticed quady’s knife, thats a gerber strongarm I hear its very good. Personally I use a TOPS Apache Dawn.
Yay, I saw your Instagram post and knew I got a video coming up lol. Maybe the two fire pits was for cooking on one and keeping warm with the other. Watching from Alabama
*There is 2 different poly's, one will turn yellow but the other doesn't. You can look it up.* *Get water based Minwax polycrylic. You can look for a different brand but make sure it's water based and polycrylic.*
I live in the mountains of NC with 12-15 Bears each year and 5 minutes from the National Pisgah Forest, we'd love to have you stay and during the day you can hike the mountains and camp in our yard at night you'd love it.
not sure if i've asked you this before but have you watched ''foresty forest''? it's crazy the stuff that he manages to cook in his van. thanks for posting. always enjoy your videos. the history part was great.

That's pretty cool to see those ruins in Kansas tied to New Mexico. Most of my family on My fathers side is from NM, with ancestors to native american apache Indians.

Love the history we learn from your trips. Nice bed set up as well.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Everytime you use that flat pan burner…I picture me ending up with the contents of the pot in my lap!!! 😂😂😂. Love your videos sir!!!!
I would have cooked on the picnic table.

I think that's a great idea!
I share your excitement for a comfy bed, nothing better to be cosy and warm in the outdoors 🌠

member that time you got stuck on that muddy road lol, rain reminded me
😂 it happens!
Looks comfy n homey. Love the idea of the lid raised instead of crawling on floor to get stuff
I just ran across your videos by chance... I really liked this one and plan to follow you.The Native American history is cool.
I like watching how you cook in your truck as well.Your so calm it's easy watching and listening to you!Thank You for sharing your travels.I would love to be young again and travel as you are.
That camping spot could be a group camping spot. An area for all the homies to hang out and drink beer.
Oh, for sure!
I always love it when you camp in the rain for some reason LOL so relaxing with the sound of rain. 🌧☔
Love this guy’s setup, and if he likes cooking inside his cab fine, but for me l would only be doing all that if it was pouring down raining. Looked like it was a nice evening to be out by the picnic table .

That area is so beautiful!! I got a peak of the water sparkling in the sun .
Hey, Mike video was awesome. You did good job on the bed. It looks so much more comfortable. Really was a beautiful spot cheers 🍻
Thanks 👍
Suggestion: some small cargo nets attached to the ceiling of camper shell would give out of the way storage for lighter items. Just a thought.
I miss you're videos Ouady but I am watching all you're videos right now amazing videos and beautiful place you're going I really like yours truck
Hi ya 👋 gorgeous camping spot 👌 happy your bed was comfy 😴. i just love your cooking ideas ,somethings i wouldn't think of putting together 😀 but the way you enjoy your food is weirdly entertaining 🤭🤣and you didn't disappoint when preparing One For Me lol😂 Thankyou for showing us the history to the park very interesting.your content was enjoyable an entertaining GODBLESS ❤️from Me V Australia 🇦🇺 😊

PS,
I forgot to ask you something it's about your mattress,
Did your old mattress put out sand? 🤔
😳 Wait about a week and check your new mattress see if that one puts sand everywhere.
Well I suppose I should ask you what kind of mattresses you bought?
Are they foam mattresses?
Was the old one a foam mattress?
Please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so very much Mike.
Good job on the new bed arrangement. Looks functional yet comfy. I might have to put a cap on my pickup.

Hey Quady, big Scotty enjoying your videos on building your new truck bed and now camping in a heavy storm. Party in Kansas. I was born in Lawrence. Big beer time buddy.

This was interesting history! I love historical sites. I knew nothing about that. Thanks for taking us along.
Lake Scott? One of my fav lakes to camp at. The hiking trails are great there too, really cool lake and camp ground for 'middle of nowhere'. Love the new bed setup!
Your videos has been my comfort for the last couple of weeks . Lots of love from Montreal ❤.
You should make the end of your bed frame a door. That way from at end of truck you could access items that u may use easier.
Just make a cabinet door with magnetic locking
Being a CO for TDC 25 years the inmates made this Spead! It’ll feed several peeps! I still make it to this day!
Thanks for another great video. I like your new sheets,(fitting for your trip). Your new bed looks great, lots more room under it also. Burrito looked tasty. Love the history of the El Cuartelejo Pueblo site. Would love to go look around there to see if a person could find anything.

Looks like a nice place to camp. I think your next add-on should be a remote start to your truck lol
Keep on camping 🤙
The Native people

The Plains Apache cohabitated with the Puebloans. (and suffered much religious persecution)
Puebloans joined the Plains Apache between 1620 and 1680.
Build a 2 foot + shelf of the bed rail. You will still have room and storage underneath.
Alrighty then, time to grab your favorite brew, sit back, relax and enjoy watching THE Quady Man! 🍻
Cheers! 🍻
