Great song
Great playing
Great lesson
Great tee-shirt
That legato run is just so incredible and pretty tricky..
One of my top favorite songs ever. Thank you for posting this. Tabs for the solo would be great. You nailed it
Thank you for sharing this precise lesson my friend! I have to say that this is how this song should be taught. I am so happy to be learning this the correct way. Happy Holidays from Hawaii.
Thank you and happy new year!!
Great lesson video 👍
All you have to do is hit one single chord and I immediately know exactly what song this is
They’re so good right?
Amazing lol
WEE-EE-EEEEE
Great lesson! I’ve been waiting for a good while for someone to do a good lesson on electric solo and you nailed it! My first time on your channel. I’ll be looking at more of your stuff!
I have a hard time with a pick anymore. Ever since I started studying Richie Kotzen style and playing with only my fingers using a pick is a bitch now. I used one for 45 years but over the last 3 now it just feels so cumbersome to try to use one. It feels so natural and free to just let fingers on my right hand just dance around on the chords and arpeggios. Putting a pick back in there makes me feel like a Man in a Box....
Bloody love this song
It’s killer!!
4:06 - Someone is crying loud after you placed your finger badly 😂 Great lesson, you really break that one!
Love this lesson! Do you have the tabs for this?
Thank you for very nice lesson!
Awesome lesson. Thank you, sir! New sub here!
Thank you!
I can still a few years ago screwing around strumming various chords and hitting up on that opening chord and I was like wait a second, is that ..
Strummed it a couple more times and was like yup! That's the beginning of nutshell 😂
Such a beautiful and haunting song.
Such great instructions 🤘
Great song! I miss Layne!
Thank you
thank you!!
Here's a question. If the tuning is Eb, and the key is E minor, Should the 12th fret notes not be a step down? I heard you refer to them as E B and G on the initial description of the solo. Are you actually tuned in Eb then? Or is the Key Eb minor?
Ah good question! Technically we're in Eb. So, if you were talking to a piano player you would say Eb if referring to the 12th fret.
However, because we've altered the tuning, I think it's normal to call out the notes/chords that you're familiar with. Eg an open E chord is technically Eb...but it's so much easier to think "E".
When you do the Em7, is your first finger holding down both strings?
Yes that’s right
hello bro can you tell me how you got this tone on pc using the interface?
I used the Kemper for everything.
@@guitarloungeI would like to have the file amp , I have kemper too. Plz send me a link
I really wish he had tabs for this
Tabs?
I wish I could learn this song but I don’t know how to play based of chord names RIP
He put tabs up on screen
this tone is a rasping
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I understand people got to listen with their ear and stuff like that but if you're going to give a guitar lesson not you but in general people on here. Instead of why don't you guys explain how many downs or ups are in each chords
That’s gonna make you play like a robot you gotta learn to play to play with feel, play it by ear
What guitar is this?
A US Fender strat. Nothing special, around 1995.
