Missed opportunity in my opinion, they should’ve just released a Universal themed pinball with the 3 JP, Jaws, ET, BTTF along with Monster Bash, Creature from the Black Lagoon using a collaboration of all characters and themes throughout the side art and table.
If I didn't already have AtGames 4k Addams Family and my son Peanuts, my son probably would have picked it up. For me, this one does not rattle me... which is actually good "for me" since I can't afford another one right now anyway. I still think AtGames should give those Dinosaur Dynasty customers a very good discount if they wish to buy the Jurassic Park topper.
I hope they refine the art package before the final release, it looks like a very amateur photochop job using a mixture of different resolution source images, including the Dilophosaurus and Tyrannosaurus models from Jurassic World Dominion. They fixed Star Trek between the preview images and the final release, so I really hope they haven't finished working on this one. Also Stern never used any stock imagery, it was all custom-painted by Johnny Crap, even the 30th Anniversary imagery. I really hope they make their factory-direct version available to Australia because I've wanted a 4K Pinball forever, and this is definitely the one I'd want! It will look great next to my Stern Jurassic Park home Pin (the fourth official JP pinball machine, by the way).
Give the people an upgrade path for the HD pinball cabs. I'd pay $400 for a 4k pcb that I can swap out. Or drop the 4k cabs to $750 and discontinue the hd cab if they aren't going to support it anymore.
Great announcement, but I'm not a fan of the right side art. It's just too busy looking. But this is definitely a fantastic option for anyone looking into one of these machines.
I always said I would hold out for Indiana Jones or Star Wars, but this might make me reconsider as we have no idea if either of those will come out. Not sure if Arcade 1up has locked down the star wars theme and Indiana Jones might be a pipe dream.
Man I'm salty, I see the factory direct version now offers the preinstalled ssf kit, this wasn't an option when I bought my attack from Mars version. I totally would have opted for the ssf kit if was offered on those attack from Mars waves
I’m disappointed 😔.. I missed on this. I held out all year. They announced the lag fix and the factory direct with the SSF kit discount and picked both up in the Mars cabinet. Bad news, Now i could have had the JP😢. Good news is they are improving options & my wave 3 purchase shows shipped this morning 😊 Bad news , unfortunately I’ll never get the JP😢

I believe it's possible, however, shipping costs would cost more for a citizen vs. a corporation (in most cases), and in addition to that customs fees, plus Canadian taxes would all be heaped on top of the total cost. Our hope is that a retailer like "The Brick" picks up this new variant and sells it in their stores.

i am still on the fence with getting a 4kp...i def wanted to use OTG. Whats the deal now with OTG available or is it behind a paywall? i keep getting confused with the different purchase varients. Which one would guarantee that OTG is avaliable? the 1599/1799 ones?
Bummed they silently discontinued the limited time $1199.99 launch price for full featured Premium cabs and are instead continuing with the $1099 "Premium" Starter cabs without advanced features, topper or many of the included tables - which is effectively a price increase. They didn't mention that the limited time launch price for new skins was going away during their last launch.
JP is a good choice and I’m considering it. The art on the front is too much plant…like I’m at my aunts place circa 1982 with the fake ferns (she was a fake plant botanist lol). Besides themed grills, a t-rex head for a plunger knob would be a cool add on. Wish they’d do an all in one option price if you want everything including the ssf, topper and OTG/online stuff. At least I’ll have some time to see if another skin comes out, since the package I’d want isn’t available till 11/7. I think with that one you still have to buy certain things separately, unless I’m not understanding it right.
Love that it is Jurassic Park and definitely a theme I like better than the others that have come out. However, I do wish we had an idea of what is coming up. Will they release any other new themes in the coming months? That is a little frustrating because I would kick myself if they released a Star Wars or Marvel themed one after buying this one. I understand the marketing and business side but…

I like it, Im enjoying those three tables and they will only get better after the improvement.

With Jurassic Park there is no option where OTG isn’t behind a paywall sadly. They aren’t selling it right now outside the premium starter
