My son got two of this Lew's Xfinity reels very nice still. So I got the Lew's Xfinity spin casting reel's one size 10 one size 30 one very happy both baitcaster and spin cast with the money.
The New o Lew's Xfinity looks like the mach 2 mine is orange and black with splash on the winn grips. Very nice look for Walmart doing it right. 2024 good review on Xfinity reel.

Someone at work offered me this rod and reel combo barely used he said for 40 bucks. Is that a good deal? I'm getting my first rod and reel setup in 25 years. I don't remember anything about fishing lol I just wanna fo lake fishing for bass and similar fish

I have one but orange. It was used when i was gifted it. Worked well at first but now everytime i cast, the line either gets stuck or it comes completely loose. Any ideas?
Thanks!! I agree, Lew's is pretty good. Really can't say anything bad about them. Some of the prices are high, but quality is there from across the board.
the issue with your Mach 2 is the Star Ratchet Gear in below the main gear isn't catching right. It probably needs to be re-seated and the inside needs some grease to the main gears.
@@hookreelfishing Lews reels are pretty simple to tear down, most are pretty much the same. Just lay each part out the way you take them out. The little star ratchet is below the main gear.
I am watching this because I found this rod with the reel the rod was kinda behind our house which is a lake and it was mostly dried is we just went down there and found this rod with that reel so yeah clean it all off and it still works after being in water and mud for awhile idk how long but a while for sure The Rod quantum torsion im6 rod
