In this video we teach you how to set up a Ring Indoor Cam. The Ring Indoor Camera is a wifi camera that allows you to remotely view video footage on your phone and has two way voice communication. The Ring Indoor Cam works on the Ring App and works with other Ring Devices.
How To Set Up Ring Indoor Cam:
1. Download the Ring App and setup an account with a username and password and login.
2. Plug in the Ring Indoor Cam.
3. Connect your Ring Indoor Cam to your wifi network and follow the instructions to set up your Ring Indoor Cam.
4. Wait for the software update to complete.
5. Congratulations your Ring Indoor Cam is now set up.

When the device is live...why can I not use my phone regularly without it turning off while its in my purse? So does my phone have to be constantly open to home page and the app opened in small view to work? I do not want to worry if its going to shut off when I put phone in my puurse and not going to carry it around?

Is there an indicator light that goes on when someone is looking in on you? How do you know when someone logs in to see you on the ring camera? The training video turned the device and I could not see what it looks like when someone is online logged in and watching. Thank you!
Do you need a different contact from the ring bell as I just got off the phone to them and thay told me that it is a different device so you have to pay for the recording but I payed for my doorbell 1 thought it would be all on the same 1 ??
I purchased the Ring Indoor Cam and couldn't get it to connect to my wi-fi. Called ring and after 1/2 half hour of customer support got nowhere. Call ATT U-verse, my ISP and was advised this camera did not work with my internet because of the speed, and he created a slower secondary connection that the camera could connect to.
Does this need some kind of base station? My use would be only when I am away from the house for a period of time so my phone would be no where near MY wifi system. Will it still work? Thanks.
Has a base stand or you can remove the base and attach it to the back for wall mount. Hardware included. You can view away from home.

Does it pan and tilt ?
It's not motorized, but you can you tilt it on the base
This one does not do that automatically but this Ring Cam: amzn.to/43Orwp8 does have motorized pan and tilt you can control from your phone.
