Manual has the potential to be faster here, but around a track like Canada, Monza, Bahrain etc. where you can just ram the car into the pit-lane, auto is way faster. They should do something about that to be honest.

On Canada the assist is hyper OP, you come down a straight where you can get to the car's top Speed and yet, you can just keep that up in the pit entry and still come in without getting a penalty

I can't remember the speed you are supposed to slow down to, he doesn't say it anymore like previous years. First couple races I got 5 second penalties for speeding even though I tried to slow down, just don't know the speed or how to do it anymore
Manual is always quicker unless you're either slow or u have pit entry assist on so you can literally full send into the pit entry and u won't get a penalty
For manual you really need to slow down to 60km/h before push the pit lane button if not you will get time penalty.. but you will get faster exit the pit lane on manual.. on auto pit lane you can full throttle all the the pit lane without getting time penalty and a little bit slow exit..
Why does alotta people use the halo ring's cam view instead of cockpit POV helmet cam view? Does alotta people have a hard time watching/looking through the POV helmet cam view or something? Just wondering. I don't have any problems with that. I'm just asking a simple nice question.
Hey bro, personally I use it for a better visibility (for side by side battles or just seeing the track limits) because the POV cam doesn't allow you to see as much details as the halo cam. Hope this helps!
@@mxcnf1 i’ve tested out all of the views while driving them too and i personally mostly enjoy and like the POV cockpit view since i can see pretty good on the screen but i can do VR but i don’t have a proper pedals and steering wheel set so i use controller but i have tried my wheel set and it’s so weird lol. I’m good at controller but whenever i do get a new wheel set/wheel, then i will do more on the wheel (for a notice, i use a 4K/8K 65 inch Vizio smart TV that is gaming compatible aswell )
Just before the lane of the speed limitation you have to slow down and press the pit limiter button, then it's automatic until you reach your crew, then while the tires are being changed you have to press the clutch, the throttle and when your car finally touches the ground and the light goes green you just release the clutch. Finally, at the end of the pit lane you press again the speed limiter button and you are back into the race!

@@dalitrenzoo ahah it's true that at the beginning it is a bit complex because there is a lot of things to master, but you can start slowly with the helps, you can put the automatic pit stop where you have nothing to do and everything, I m sure you can start the game and learn very fast
automatic is when you don't have to activate or desactive pit limiter and also when you automatically restart after the pitstop (when assists are on in fact) while manual is the opposite, when you activate pit limiter+restart manually after the pitstop (all assists off)
Have a look on the time the car is standing in the pits. Manual has a faster release. Auto lets u stay longer. The time 2.9 says just, that the engineers needed that mich time to change the tyres.
If you're just playing for fun and don't care to race in leagues, auto is a guaranteed way to not get penalized. But for anyone wanting to race in a half decent league or try for Esports, you have to learn to drive without assists. I enjoy making it a challenge and not driving with assists. But I know alot of people just dont have the skill or care enough to learn to drive that way.
