    lol I’m about to address this one time only since I typically don’t pay attention to comments. You guys understand this is entertainment right? This isn’t real… we are here to enjoy something or not enjoy something together and give our take whether we agree or not.. but if you guys don’t think I know if she is a gold digger or not is crazy when not one person on this video knows me or her personally 🤣🤣 we are happy and don’t have these type of issues or even thoughts in our relationship. I know it’s funny to try and get the most likes from your comment but a 18 minute video doesn’t mean you know our situation. Could yah ask your girl for 50 bands right now and she would give it to you without question? Doubt it but yea we good and this video was funny I love bill burr and her and I was interested in introducing her into something I enjoy we appreciate all yah who have been tuning into the channel though much love

    Bill’s joke about Kobe’s wife was based on the California marriage law. If she would have divorced him after 7 years, she would be entitled to 3.5 years of alimony (half of the length of the marriage). But at 10 years, you get alimony for life as long as you don’t remarry. And that is EXACTLY what she did. Filed for divorce right after the 10 year mark. “A jaded cop hanging around for his pension”

      @@LordVader66. Plus it’s in the standard prenuptials, one of which she signed. You get different divorce settlements after the 1, 4, 7 and 10 year marks. The one she signed was she’d only get 20 million after 7, and 70 million after ten. Plus the alimony. She did exactly what Bill said, she bided her time until she reached the decade notch.

      Well said, young lady. I'm a 48-year-old Welsh boy, who's been lucky with my work to travel the world, BUT with my position are in control of hiring and firing. And I've dug my heels in. If you can't turn up on time 'maybe I can't pay you on time'. BOOM, Whites, blacks, Asians, Latino Ive fired them ALL, if you can't do the job, get out of the building, and you have to do it otherwise that card is abused and used in the wrong way. I give everyone a fair chance, but never use ethnicity as an excuse for not being as capable as the next person sending me a CV as they also deserve a chance. Although Bill's point os about relationships its a wider perspective.

You just wasted her 20s and her chances finding another man like that is alot harder. i dont think woman if they break up should get the money unless its abuse. if a woman is expected to stay at home she wont be able to build anything for herself because shes with you. ps im not actually talking about you but wording it like that creates at better perspective

      I think people are funny on that logic. Im a man myself and im totally for half half splitting. You only are angry about it because the amount of money is so large. "She doesnt deserve it" says who? Does Coby deserve 600 million dollar for beeing good at one sport? He plays a ball game with the same set of rules day in day out and doesnt acomplish anything important for humanity other than entertain a part of society with hitting numbers, that are forgotten after a year.
      You people have lost your judgment of worth for money. Money is simply worthless today, because we rank worthless stuff enourmous out of proportion. Musk is not worth the money he earns, no CEO on this planet is worth the money he earns and film and sport celebs are not worth their money. Measure what Coby get for playing and compare it to a normal worker. Coby had 600 Million in his pocket, you need 145,148 workers working normal life expectation(77,28years) to get the same amount of money together. Thats how lost we are in "worth" of a person. One worker would need 11,217 years to acomblish that....and you cry that the woman split equal to him.
      You split the pot of a overly wealthy person in two and you think he cant afford butter anymore because he cant survive with hundreds of millions anymore? He doesnt earn more because he works harder than any human on this planet. He earns more because he hit a specific place and had the luck and skill to get on a position that is payed incredible out of propostion. Thats like hitting the lottery, any can but only a few will have the luck and many have to lose and fail for his money.
      For me im for total equality in law. If you were married, split half. Doesnt interest me who earns more. You provide for your family equaly.

      @@klaushipp1207 if you manipulate the calculated 50% you only affect the child. It makes a difference if a child will life in poverty or has a decent life. Of course in Cobys case its sure he will be rich, doesnt matter if its 5 million or 100 million. That doesnt matter, the case is half splitting is fairness. In marriage you both are equal, if you cant live with the risk, never marry, its simple. Of course we have shitty personas that will exploite this like with every other aspect of our society. But only helping the richer person in a relationship is unsocial at best.
      We life in a poor society were few are absolut rich for a reason, because we allready have unequalltiy rules for the rich and the rest. You will just justify making the gap even bigger.

    Yeah what I'm hearing from your lady there is you best have a prenup cuz she's going to take you for everything if you fuck up that's what she just said 😅😅 women feel so entitled to something that they had no part of... Unless you like Jeff bezos and his lady cuz she actually helped him build that company they were both broke before the money came in so therefore a woman is entitled to a certain amount of dollars during a divorce but if that woman didn hp that man make none of that money you don't deserve anything if anything maybe 5% and even that is too much but if you weren't there during the struggle and you weren't there helping making the dollars no lady on planet Earth deserves the settlements they're getting

    • @chriswhinery925
      @chriswhinery925 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah I can see large settlements in a case like Bezos' where the man built his entire fortune while married to her and the argument could be made (not saying it's right or wrong, just that it could be made) that she helped a lot by supporting him, taking care of the home while he worked long hours, etc. But in cases where the fame and fortune precede the marriage it's insane. The wife in those cases didn't have ANYTHING to do with making that wealth, there's no fucking way she deserves half. She deserves SOMETHING (in the case of divorce because of the husband fucking up, don't get me started on states with no fault divorce where the woman divorces him just because she "doesn't love him anymore" or some shit, in cases like that if a woman divorces a man for no reason I would argue she deserves NOTHING at all) but nothing like these multi 10's of millions of dollars settlements.

      @@chriswhinery925 The only reason I agree with large settlements is because you don't want the kids preferring to spend time with one parent solely because that's where all their consoles/they are more comfortable etc. It doesn't take anywhere close to $75 million though so it really is absurd. The whole taking care of the house/kids is completely moot - how much would a housekeeper and a babysitter cost? Surely not $75 mil.

    The reasoning is for the wife to get so much is because of what part she played in the marriage it allowed him to focus on his job and make the money - so in a sense she helped him in his career. Also women sacrifice careers to take care of the children and home while men go off and work - which also contributes to him focusing and doing his job. The settlement isn't a punishment for why the marriage broke up.

    Never ask the average woman if divorces are fair in the U.S. Ask Adele if she thinks it's fair when the shoe is flipped. We have laws still on the books on every State from the 1940's...where divorcing women were not expected to be educated or have work experience.
    Back then, it made sense for women to devote their lives to family and not have the man just give money and walk away. Nowadays, men are expected to protect, provide, and be sensitively caring without any say-so in the home.
    We are now living in a world where I've heard from three different 5'2" women say that they can "kick the asses" of a group of men...Bro, I am 6'2" and 250 pounds and I would NEVER think that I could fight off a pack of men. We have to get back to what has worked for the 7 thousand years prior, or western civilization is doomed.

    If that doesn't give you a warning sign for getting a prenup with your girl, if you ever decide to get married, I don't know what else you need. I'm sure she is a good girlfriend and treats you well, but judging by her defensiveness on the topic and how she felt that woman was entitled to that large sum of money, I just think you need to proceed with caution. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is entitled to any money you made on your own. The support should be voluntary. If you ever have a chance, whether you react by yourself, or with your girl...Please consider watching Stephen Jackson (Ex-NBA player) tell the story about his wedding and how he handled the girl that was trying to get him to go through with it without signing a prenup. Every guy needs to handle it the way he did.

    • @chriswhinery925
      @chriswhinery925 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Prenups are fine but don't rely on them. If the wife gets a sympathetic judge they can and sometimes do tear up prenups as if they never existed. The wrong judge and all the woman has to say is "I only signed because I was afraid he wouldn't marry me if I didn't", boom, that's duress, contract dissolved. Doesn't happen all the time so it's better to have it than not but don't rely on it (especially in shithole states like California where most of the judges are activists).
