That kid has a get out of jail free card for eternity with her mother now.
"What time do you call this?!" "Hey remember that time you hired a guy to pretend to be my dad?"
"Have you been drinking?!" "Have you heard from pretend actor dad recently?"
"I don't want you seeing that boy again!" "Well maybe I can just pay someone to be a good boyfriend while I have a real one somewhere else!"
Lmaoo
HHAHA
He is her dad. He loves her, talks and care about her. Her bio father did just nothing for her during her whole childhood. What a man ❤️
because he was being paid to
it still eludes me why he wanted to die, rather than staying alive and maybe be her stepdad? i mean there are other options here
@@tobbleboii5988it was part of the mom's insane plan for him to fake his death but he got too into the character he was playing
Oh my, that little girl is an amazing actor
fr
Yes I agree too
I know
Yep so true
Duh
Her little speech she told her dad about why he cant die got me crying and luckily it saved his life
Had me bawling my eyes out-
He kind of is her dad. He did all the dad stuff. Just cause he isn't bio or married to mum, doesn't mean much nowadays.
That’s a good point
But it’s different when you’re hiring someone and presumably paying a person to act as a father is a different thing, it is far more different
not really he "lived in geneva" meaning he only saw her probably at big events like birthdays
I think so, too. At first he was just playing his role but after some time he actually started to care for her like a father would.
That little girls acting was amazing , It gave me goosebumps and made me tear up
UPanbgirl
This is the most hilarious story at this point
Indeed, but my God, he's a good actor, all of them are
Noo
…
Their method actors.
Haha, you’re so right, but played super seriously! 😂
He loves her enough to truly be her dad, so that's what he is.
That mom is insane. If you don't know this, her initial plan was to make the actor "go to Geneva, get overwhelmed by work, not be as present in daughter's life because of that, and then dies in an accident". She was willing to traumatize her daughter just to cover up her lies and maintain trust with her. Child protective services really needed to step in here.
The plot? Ridiculous
The acting? Ridiculously good
right? I've really enjoy many episode of the Chicago series and the way it all ties together is well planned out. Some are so cheesy Hahahaha!
sorry but the mother and the dude are insane. why hire someone to pretend to be your daughters father ? why even take that job anyway ??? jesus christtttt
😂😂
What a chaotic mess
In the first part she explained how she never had a father and didn’t want the same for her daughter and well you can’t blame the dude cuz he’s an actor and he got paid
He probably really needed the money
Growing up without a father figure is harder than you'd think, a father teaches how to handle stress/anger and other overwhelming feelings, Without an active father figure nearby it's not easy to get through childhood so in a way i guesss one could understand her
I heard my mum before her passing didn't want me and my brother to know she had cancer, but my dad told us anyway
I had the same situation, I am sorry
Your dad did the right thing. Lying hurts as much as truth omission.
The mother may have been hurt, but children deserve honesty no matter what
“Family doesn’t require blood, it only requires love ❤️”
poor child is crying over an actor :(
I no it’s so sad
When she finds out the truth she'll hate her mom
It looked like he actually cared for her in the end so maybe it wasn't all acting.
Aren't we all?
i almost cried when she broke down, i had tears in my eyes
I've got mixed feelings on this episode if I'm being honest
Agree same
This is child abuse. Emotional abuse.
That mother shouldn't have lied to her in the first place.
Selfish, way too selfish.
@@milicadjordjevic4498 how is it selfish to not know how to tell her her farther is dead…. It’s odd but she grew up in a happy home… which is more than can be said for a great many people
@@zachall101 her biological father abandoned her, he's not dead.
So you approve to blatantly lie to your daughter like this?
Lies hurt more than truth. Imagine being lied all your life. Your life is not what you thought it was.
Fathers figures can definitely be other people than biological fathers but not in this way.
Plus, that's mother's insecurity, she's the one who grew up without a father and assumed her daughter will have the same hardship. Why not just talk?
@@milicadjordjevic4498 would it have been much different if the mother had married the actor while the baby was young? i mean the main moral objection here is that he was hired to be her father, but the clip shows he clearly cares about the girl and isn't in it just for the pay. so how is he different from a stepfather? like, if the bio dad left and the mom had married someone else instead and the girl grew up thinking that someone else was her father and the mother never told her otherwise, would that change anything? it would still be a case of "your dad is not your dad but he still loves you" in the end.
i mean, i still think the mother was wrong, but i do wonder if i would have felt the same way if money wasn't involved. would you?
The mother is just getting away with it for now. Thank goodness the actor and the kid did bond like a real family.
I am terrified of his yellow eyes😰😰😰
Yeah same
That’s from jaundice can also turn skin yellow
@@lilyp1847 Kk, thanks for telling
I just realised this was posted only an hour ago and I've been looking for another clip for ages
5 hours ago now, but, yes, same here!
Same!
Hahahahahahahahahaha that’s so funny
Yo I get that this is a show. But seriously. How can someone put their own daughter through this. This is so much harder to digest than being straight up and telling the truth about her father. Not to mention that it will cause more trauma and other issues further down in her life. This experience will emotionally and psychologically scar her for life.
These doctor are practically social worker and film directors at the same time!! 😂
At 0:30 I couldn't fathom what was going on at all so I read the description: "Dr. Manning and Dr. Charles deal with a patient who is an actor pretending to be the father of a child at the mother's behest. They soon discover that the patient is intentionally poisoning himself as a part of his act."
WTF? I mean, I respect the commitment to his part but what's the point? Acting is about getting paid, even if its just sandwiches. Suicide misses the point.
I think the actor fell in love with the little girl and didn't mind to die to give her a better closure than to "die" in Geneva
Acting isn’t always about getting something in return lmao
This was new to me and I've been watching TV shows for over 40yrs. I'm assuming for them to have made an episode around it, some folks do this in real life? One question. Whyyyyyy?????!!!! Are that mother and the actor father both crazy?!
She said that she grew up without a father and didn’t want that to happen to her daughter when her father ran off so she payed this guy to play the role
The child is such a good actor
He's crazy and can't get out of character so he obviously got attached to Harper
That little girl deserves a Oscar❤️
If I was that mom, I would never let some random grown man near my child.
love you
He is probably safer around her than the mother is considering how insane she is
gotta say mad props to the girl she's an amazing actress
The actor guy must've fell in love with being a father, but at least they finally broke the truth to the girl. Not sure how this will go from there, I have somewhat mixed feelings about the ending really...
When the girl put her toy of the dude's chest, right away I got sad
2:26 "There has to be another option". There is- just haul off and whup the crazy out of all three of them.
she is a star and a piece of art such a good actress
My dad were die last year and we still go on I now you do your best doctor
Finally we got the next part of the episode!!!
After a long, long while😂
The acting of that little girl, Harper, was amazing ❣️✨
I need part 3
This is a crazy scene lol
This is sick omg
i know its not real but this acually made me cry
fr i dont even know why bro-
Now is it just me or is this mother just crazy?
It’s not just you!
not just you
I agree
This episode is a big mess 😂🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Nobody:
Chicago med: 1mg of epi STAT
I'm sorry but yes she grew up without her father and wanted to protect Harper but Derek and her are completely crazy like who tf would do that? It was obviously gonna come out at some point and destroy the girl.
Girl :you can't die daddy I still neet you
Me:I will miss you get better
That guy may have a problem with the characters but you can see he really does care for the girl you can see he kinda broke character
That little girl acted so well
There’s a special place in hell for anyone who would put a child through this.
I miss Dr Reese 🤍
Me toooo
Where did she go??
@@User_undetected somewhere we don't know
@@User_undetected Texas I think
@Tom what episode?!
Omg I teared up ngl. That but where she was yelling at him all the things they were gonna do brown my heart and in real life I probably would have bawled my eyes out
It was literally the most common theatrical poison, surely they could have figured that out on their own
I love these videos but I can’t watch the series
Same
@@Jamisonn. Sebatian ciel is calling you
@@avivaschannel Ahh okay, i'll be sure to check on him as soon as i can
I would have never forgiven her
That child actress is amazing
She gonna find out when she gets older I seriously don't understand
Wait a second... *listens to Elaines voice closely*
ARTEMIS??!? OMG IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW
When the mum took her she’s turned her slef around and said everything to make him awake. Lol
tothe
The actor loves the girl like her own.
Dr. Manning is soo pretty
You are too do not forget that ☺️☺️
Oh god there so good at acting this made me cry. :(
This is just so sad why would they break them apart like that
I love the child’s acting in this scene
I'm sorry for your loss passing of girl.
3:49-4:12 literally had me in tears
All of this went out of hand because this woman couldn't deal with confrontation. Hiring and making up a traumatizing ending for a METHOD actor! For Harper, whether this man is her real father or not, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, he was a man that even outside his character, cared for her and wanted her to do right with her.
For all we know, even the "mother" isn't the girls real one
What
Thanks for helping people
Yeah i'm really looking for this
2:28 Dr. Manning seems insane here while Dr. Charles is giving the best possible solution
-.- this is the saddest vid I ever watched 💔💔😭😭
Awwwww I feel sooo bad for the girl
its hark breaking when she says daddy you cant die daddy so sad
I over dosed on skittles
Lmao have a good day
anthony hopkins use to say actors are crazy
Sad I hate seeing people die
No nurse or doctor would administer a drug through someone's hospital gown. Even though its a show why do that 🤦🏼♀️
Actually it’s fine and doesn’t affect the patient. It’s just seen as not very professional. But if you need to quickly call niece something into a patient and you done have time to take your time then you do it that way
i cried...
Dr Manning logic is so bad sometimes
i acrually cried
Man really thinks hes helping her with this whole act. She is gonna get heartbroken, one way or the other.
Aw that's a 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂🎉🎉😢😢😮😮😮😅😊
I cry 😭😭😭😥😥😥😭😭😭😥😭😥
the mom is crazier than the actor
This make me cry so much
This really messed up
Rip
Lmao have a good day
Start a relationship = problem solved.
I'm sorry no this mother needs to suffer some kinda consequences. This isn't okay.
why not just continue pay the guy to be her "dad" till the girl is 18 or something? The guy clearly and genuinely loves her. Where is the harm?
OK but why am I crying like I swewr
WHo else is crying
Mother is as nuts as the dad!
I love when your so early there are no dislikes 🙂😍
Wooo early 😍☺️
L o l
