Jim, I have enjoyed watching many of your hunts. It is neat to see you hunting the Andean Whitetail Deer. My parents decided to move from the USA to Ecuador when they retired back in 2011. My 3rd trip to visit them was last December. On that trip I also hired a guide for some bird watching and we saw several deer in the Andes at Antisana Park.
Wow that was an amazing & awesome adventure & to see parts of the Earth i would never get to experience & place's few get to see let alone watch a top class hunter getting some extremely rare breeds & animals we wouldn't have seen if it wasn't for you.

Jim should have helped the old man with his chores. Then he would have the time to take him to the deer. When hunting Afar, I always tried to hang with the locals are at least get their advice.
Why not have all the passengers each donate a few cents or dollars during a trip to buy and hire a full time driver to siding the roads at a full time operator to siding the road in bad spots to make the road a few feet wider to make it safer to pass each other on a trip down the road ! Even a foot or so ! Would make it safer to travel on !
That ram is not descended from Viking sheep but from an.ancient breed of Spanish sheep brought to the New World as the Spaniards colonized North and South America. They are a rare breed and called Navajo Churros in the US.
So I re watched this a few times when he shoots at the elk it looks like the elk bucked up didn’t just run off it bucked if you are a hunter and have shot any big game animal you will know exactly what I’m talking about
So Jim! A non hunter would beg to ask the question: Why would you go all the way, and spend all the money just to shoot a wild sheep that looks like any other farm sheep?
James Micky D's is God awful poison. I try so hard to not go to fast food places. When I do I am shocked at the price for product. I am glad fast food is being priced out. Street vendor or taco wagon food is way better quality.

You do realize to eat beef or chicken your still killing an animal. That train of thought is completely ridiculous. If you eat meat or anything, if you exist on this planet something is dying as a result of you. Why not just except this and hunt your own food. Also as a bear hunter myself I think bear meat tastes better then beef.

You gotta be kidding me I didn't see a single hunter on the show, except maybe the kid with the binos who spotted the sheep, and even told him which one to shoot. Guys a joke.
@PawsnJaws if you watch the show he explains why putting a value on the animals he hunts...Aka using a guide and paying money for the license and tags...helps in conservation efforts for those same animals. Giving stewardship of those animals to the people that live in those areas also helps as it gives incentive for them to watch over the animals and fight poaching etc.
