  • After finding some issues with my vaccum lines, I decided to finally ditch all the silicone lines and make sure I would have an issue ever again...with Push to Connect fittings! Once installed, you don't need any tools to take them apart or put them back together. They can handle pressure far exceeding most automotive applications and they're CHEAP! Check them out...

Great video! Funny thing is a buddy of mine was just telling me how after watching me use this stuff on all my builds he had to try them and realizes how nice it is when you service or make changes to boost controllers or engine bays. Its a RACECAR Life Hack !! I've never had issues with these, and if heat is a big concern, run the lines through a heat sleeve

Any semi dealer/repair shop is a fantastic place to get this stuff, cheap.

Push the plastic ring back in towards the fitting , opposite direction of the air line, then pull the air line out. Easy !

No problem with the lines melting with only 150degree rating? I would think the heat from the wastegate could transfer through the fittings to the nylon lines.

I was wondering the same. I'm considering these options but I'm afraid anything that's plastic on the push fittings might fail overtime as well as having a weaker hose to accommodate the 1/4" tubing these fittings accept

@@itr_cloud so since I posted I’ve been running the same setup with metal fittings and never had a problem. I also have heat sleeve over the lines.

@@xnivektonx can you send me a link to the hose you are using? I used Parker Parflex 1/4 OD hoses and they melted inside the fitting on my wastegate

I've never had an issue, and if i was concerned I would use heat sleeving around them.
