Thank you for the video! I read Captive Girl and gave it 4 stars. The whole idea of a world being so in fear that they could do this to their children I think I found more shocking that the carer/patient dynamic. This story stayed with me as it forced me to think about the way humans react to perceived threats and also to perceived kindness. Looking forward to this month's read.
