- In todays video I'll show you how to match your foundation to your skin! This is a commonly asked question so I wanted to share my expert advice on how I match foundations to skin tone and how you can easily do so yourself!
I'll talk through an easy method of color matching your foundation so that you can do this for yourself and no longer have to worry about mismatching your shade!

Thank you so much Nina, I always struggle with my foundation, it's wether too dark or too bright, I end up mixing different shades together and getting away with it, but would like to have just one shade matching my skin! 😂

Dear Nina, I will really appreciate a similar video on concealer especially covering dark circles. I have servere dark circles on very very fair skin. Using your guide on how to set concealer on the eyes have helped a lot - but finding the right colour - uh that's a tough one

Also when testing foundation leave it on for at least 30 min , sometimes they oxidise and change colour, go warmer… so never buy on the day, get a sample if you can too to try another time before you commit
Been looking for my perfect shade so i decided a to buy a product that is lighter and one is darker for my skin and i have tried to mix them! And voila! Found my perfect shade ! Love this video. Most of the foundations I get I can't try on. I have to just guess which would look better by looking at the bottle. There have been times when I have even thought that the shade would look good on me and it was actually a bit too light and wished I had gotten a darker shade. Figuring out if I'm more of a neutral or warm shade sometimes gets me as well. I would like to see you do a video like this on concealers. I always have trouble finding a concealer that is close to my skin color. I'm not one for brightening under the eyes.

Concealers, next please
This is a great tutorial and thank you. My problem is spending money on 2 or 3 shades just to find a good match. Times have changed and you can barely get someone to service you at the makeup counters. Many times its "Oh, what would you like to purchase today"?

I love your videos, and I specifically tried Nars, sheer glow based on your recommendation. I love it, but I got the shade Barcelona and I feel that it’s too yellow on me. I do lean more towards neutral, cool tones. The shade is OK in Barcelona but it’s too yellow. Could you recommend something that is close to that that wouldn’t be as yellow?
I’m in the same spot. I think Santa Fe could work. I run into the same issues.

Yes more! Help us match contour and highlights concealer and setting powder. And also if we underpaint with concealer and maybe use samples for contour and highlighting should those be the same under tones as the foundation? What about color correction? I have dark circles put I am very fair with pink undertones. In theory something yellow should correct dark circles but I have seen pink tinted setting powder that claims to minimize how can this be?
Would love a video on choosing the right bronzer. I'm already slightly darker than you, more medium-tan. So I find that bronzers don't tend to even show up on my face when I apply them. Lol

What is the best sigma brush for blending found? Also, is a neutral foundation a "safer" bet when picking a color for foundation vs warm/cool options?
What I struggle with is my skin tone changes a lot with different season and I really don’t want to buy a lot of shades of foundation (they add up quickly). 😢

I found it hard to find a foundation with full coverage that still looks like skin. My only trouble is these pesky small moles ( not freckles) which are all. over my face. I want to wear a foundation that at least still.look natural.
