- Here's the High-Grade 1/144 scale Zudah! This is a really unique and cool Zeon mobile suit for sure. Loads of weapons, and articulation not too hindered by it's old age. Definitely recommend trying this kit out!

For those talking bout the tiny legs, well it was never used under gravity, so they probably put the tiniest legs. like a prelude to the 'You don't need legs in space." camp
They are just frames with limited armor..just as strong as normal legs, not so good for getting hit though

The basic idea of this mobile suit: be better than the Zaku
What came out of it: IM FAST AS FUCK BO-KABOOM!
If you’re on the fence about this kit, buy it. It’s the best high grade IMO. It’s engineered like a mini mastergrade in the arms and is sturdier than a stone, and has amazing decals

I used to hate this mobile suit, then I watched igloo recently and I started to change my opinion, the story of igloo make me appreciate the design of this kit. Now I just want this kit so bad, paint it and place it in the center of my shelf. Salute to this ghost warrior!
Nobody knows about me, I have only five different confirmed variants when compared to my rival, and I ultimately failed to win Zeon the war
The detail on the torso and shoulders looks fantastic, especially for its age

Yeah the Zudah's feet is actually supposed to be a little bit smaller than what it is on the HG
The Gyan is basically an updated Zudah, in many ways. They were made by the same company and you can really see the design lineage.

Zappa Slave well is space you need more verniers for stability, so flexible legs with verniers are useful for flight.

That main weapon and all the surface details tho, I think this kit should be in the HG Origin line. That said, why aren't we getting the clear visor and the clear monoeye for the HG Origin Zeon mobile suits??
Nice review.... for info if I remember well the arm lenghtening gimmick could also be used for handling the long rifle easier.
Ya know, the Mad Scientist in me says I'd adjust the front half of the feet by steepening the "toe" (80 degree angle) and make bottom completely flat and rounding out the entire front end. Then I'd beef up the lower legs a la Kampfer while keeping the model's design theme. Basically....make it appear somewhat like an astronaut suit, but that's just me. You can easily come up with a design 100x better than my lousy idea, that's for sure.

Yeah those feet and legs are pretty damn goofy but the rest of the kit totally make up for it. The long rifle and shield are very, very cool.
The actual built one is way more adorable than the one you see in the picture.

that suit was the zaku competition. that's why it doesn't have the iconic zaku leg Bells. also with less Mass the suit would have greater acceleration and less issues with balance control in zero gravity. my two cents

The zudah was the competition with the ms-05 I believe. Kinda like in ww2 the germans designed the he-100 to compete with the me 109, never took off. The he-100 was used as a propaganda tool to scare the allies into thinking there was a new better fighter. I believe in Ms Igloo, the zudah served the same purpose. A design that never panned out.

Honestly, I've never liked the Gyan. The Zudah is much more pleasing to the eyes.
Were the shoulders on this one interchangeable from one side to the other? Had thoughts on getting two of these and having a shield mounted on both sides.

I'm going to burn for this opinion, but I actually kind of like the legs. I'm a fan of the thin legs/big feet combo. Still wouldn't go out of my way to buy this thing, but I'd definitely get it if I saw it on the shelf of my nearby brick and mortar shop.

I'll have to pick up 2 copies of this kit. One for building and displaying with the long rifle, and the other to give the Zudah a second sturnfaust, and give the GP02 Gundam with the Mirv option parts the anti ship rifle.

The HG one. Really appreciated the amount of panel lines and and almost no need of stickers for this kit.

Zimmad made the Gyan, Gigan, and Gelgoog eventually, which explains some design cues.
the gelgoog was made by zeonic and the gigan was made by pezun.
the reason the gyan and judah look so alike is because the gyan was a heavily modified judah used by m'quve

Jupiter Empire's Mobile Suits had their legs retracted in flight & was only treated as landing gears, so blame Zeon's Zudah for that. XD

Sometimes Bandai produce a "different" MS fot those who like that (like me). Look at he Z'Gok (and other marine MS) or Gyan, they look like Power Rangers baddies.
The Zudah was never used under gravity.That's why it has those weird legs.
I think you need to fact check yourself, I was meant originally as an all purpose ms , why would they take my legs ability to work in atmosphere away?

tubejorrit Since this is an older kit, you're going to have the older HG Zaku II (or Zaku I if you prefer) if you don't want to do any real work with conversion.

Nice video, i actually like this MS, with some improvement. Very good in sniper configuration (the chunky feets can be seen has heavy weights for stability).
Honestly, I find the relative size of the chest is way worse than the legs. The legs are good for a mobile suit that's made for speed. The thighs even look proportional to the calves in length compared to the stubs on most mobile suits.
I just wish the chest were a little smaller so the Zudah could have a more gaunt look. It would at least look more in line with the thin arms and legs.
