My 8 month old corgi Aussie pup is suuuuper smart. We have been using your videos since before we picked her up. She knows a lot and is in puppy school but one issue we are still having is her being over excited and only ever able to calm down for like 2 seconds before she starts to rapid fire tricks, bark, and act frustrated, during training sessions. Any suggestions for this? Her overexcitement extends with meeting new people and when we arrive at puppy school. Jumping and pulling to the extreme. We have been very committed and persistent with different tactics but do you have anything out of the ordinary that might help us? Thanks so much!!
Your videos are absolutely incredible, I've never seen any that make so much sense. BUT, how to translate some of this information to those of us who adopt adult dogs? Are the techniques different? Thanks.
I’ve found that it’s the same but a slower process. And keep training sessions short but frequent. I do a couple times a day and over the week my dog gets better at it. My dog isn’t the smartest so it takes a couple weeks for him to truly master it. Puppy brains are like sponges they catch on so fast.
My 2 year old Golden Retriever that eats anything that he can reach including socks and napkins or anything that hits the ground. How can I train my dog that this is unacceptible behavior? Please help..
I taught many dogs this trick but my new pup is a blue xl bully and when I do this he won’t even try to use his paw to get it out so what should I do about that , thanks for the advice
The bed could be uncomfortable for it compared to the couch and or the bed placement could be off for it so it would rather sleep on the couch especially since it would smell like it's humans making it feel better while it's alone at rest
