If there's a dyno tuner in your area it would be cool to see a before and after of not just HP increases (or decreases) but also of changes to the fuel mixture throughout the RPM range. You know, for science.
OK, I will assume (ya I know) that you have taken the top off the carb and you see where the cable runs. You MIGHT (I have never done it but ...) be able to file down the 'bead' on that end of the original cable until it fits through the top and run it through the slit it the side of the slide and use it. Just leave enough 'bead' so it catches in the slide bottom. Don't forget that the cable runs through the top, through the washer and spring before you slip it through the slit (sounds fun 😎) and the bead seats in the bottom of the slide. Got it? Also the hose coming off the bowl of the carb is the overflow. I always run it UP so it is vertical (zip it to something LIGHTLY don't crush it). If you leave it hanging it could suck water on a river crossing.
Copy that on throttle cable slide assembly. Got it. I ordered new cable and throttle tube. My current tube was for heated grips, and the previous owner cut power off, so now it gets in my way.. . I'll show it in next video. I'll 86 IntelAjet. I ordered a Nibbi air filter. Any personal info on eliminating stock air box? Vertical hose? I'm all for it! Good idea.
@@OffGridandWhiskey I'm against removing the airbox. You lose the boot to it holding carb in place and once again easy to get water in there. The airbox is sealed and draws air from under the seat not low at the carb. JMO
I'll be honest, I still haven't installed the Nibbi carb yet! The weather here in Western WA turned to rain, and the Tdub has been sitting. But, there's a guy that watches/comments a lot, and he assured me the Nibbi is the best upgrade you could do. He's done it. Loves it. So I'm going all in on the Nibbi soon. Video showing the install will follow. How does the one you're looking at run? Thanks for watching btw!

Sweet. I'll check it out. Thanks. That bottle in video of Michters American is my favorite. Make sure it's American. Not bourbon. Total Wine & Porn for $49.95 + State fees + Fed fees + Reporation taxes +.... =?
I don't know what you're talking about half the time, but I'm still here, LOL.
Lol. I need an OG&W interpretive book. $69.95.
Thanks for still being here. More mind scrambling to come!
I'm digging the persona. RIP Kevin DuBrow! Subscribed!
Thanks for the support! More hijinks in the pipe.

I like Tdub science!

i disagree...you're hilarious!!!!!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I will install that Nibbi btw. I have all the parts now.
I'm looking buying a tdub that has the Nibbi carb on it. What do you think? My only concern would be reliability. Thanks for the helpful vids

@@OffGridandWhiskey I haven't looked at the bike yet. The owner says it has more power, but uses more fuel.
Okay. I don't have the details in front of me, but that sounds right. But it's now gonna consume a lot of fuel. I'd rather have more power. Lol
fyi, you look way f ing younger with an actual haircut..... buh buh buh Randy and the Jetsss
Lol. And if I go clean shaven, I'll look pert as Lady Ga Ga!
Part 2: G. Gordon Liddy sings Elton John
