No human being should be treated the way convicts are, and yes, I know CERTAIN prisoners don't deserve the light of day but are we really okay with putting mentally ill people into solitary, because "it keeps them and others safe". Yeah, no. That's torture. It is gross and negligent, let's not jump the gun and make assumptions about convicts, people make mistakes and people are capable of change, not to mention, most of them just need some help. There are no soulless corporations, big companies are just made up of lots of souls compared to smaller companies. Every time people make up crap about ‘big whoever’ there are real actual people in danger of losing their jobs over it. I 100% realize that organizations like PETA and CSPI and Cornucopia have that as the unwritten part of their mission... but anyone who chooses to cancel or boycott or whatever is damaging real actual people, not ‘big whoever’ they think they are harming.

I once was walking back to my car and a lady got out of the driver seat of her car parked next to mine and rudely said I had dinged her car when I was getting out of mine. (So she didn’t let me know when it supposedly happened? She just watched me walk into the store, waited over an hour until I returned and then addressed me? Yeah right. It was hilarious though because I had nobody with me and I sure as hell didn’t exit my car from the passenger side which is what would have had to have bumped her driver side door. Then also I noticed my Jeep would’ve made contac with her car at an entirely different place than her dumb little scratch was located even if it had dinged her car (which I knew it hadn’t). She backed down easily when I defended myself and pointed these things out, and yet still was rude to me like I owed her some kind of apology. But I wondered how often she pulled that scam and if she was ever successful with it and got money from it. People can really be pathetic.
