She did her time at the prison in Chowchilla, CA. My friend worked there while she was serving her sentence. She definitely walked around acting like she was a celebrity. She was the one offering her autograph to people. My friend laughed as she declined that autograph.

There are no soulless corporations, big companies are just made up of lots of souls compared to smaller companies. The infamous Wendy’s is now closed. It survived the lawsuit, but didn’t make it through covid. I’m from San Jose and we were all glued to the news when this happened. 😂 I know some her family and not all of them supported her. In fact they’re ashamed! 😆

I knew someone who worked at Wendy’s during that time and years after and I was told the poor man who owned that particular wendys only had a franchise of like 4 stores. And the poor man lost 50% of his business and Wendys international had to help financially keep him afloat.
I remember when this happened!!! I was with my grandparents while this whole saga was going on and they pull through the wendy's drive thru. I said "Grammie, Don't you know they have fingers in the chilli?" She said "I don't care it's good chilli!" God rest her soul.

Actually it was so traumatic that, I drunk hot coffee again 2 years ago and I ALWAYS test with my lips first any hot beverage! I only forgot to test once and I got so scared but I soon realized it wasn’t as painful as the McDonald’s coffee and the burning sensation went away after an hour or so. Seriously, till now I just thought I was exaggerating and because this happened years ago I was making it bigger in my head. Didn’t even know that was actually a thing !

Their chili is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Last time I ate it was about 3 years ago, it was very watery and nowhere near the meat content, ordered a couple more times in month or so, just to see if it was an accident. Nope, not what it used to be. It still got reviews.
Right like I used to work at Wendy's and the chili was always pretty watery so if you picked it up with your spoon you'd definitely see something in there.

Me and my friends went to school with her daughter. I honestly felt bad for the girl cause all the kids would just talk about how her mom was the Wendy’s chili finger lady. I once was walking back to my car and a lady got out of the driver seat of her car parked next to mine and rudely said I had dinged her car when I was getting out of mine. (So she didn’t let me know when it supposedly happened? She just watched me walk into the store, waited over an hour until I returned and then addressed me? Yeah right. It was hilarious though because I had nobody with me and I sure as hell didn’t exit my car from the passenger side which is what would have had to have bumped her driver side door. Then also I noticed my Jeep would’ve made contac with her car at an entirely different place than her dumb little scratch was located even if it had dinged her car (which I knew it hadn’t). She backed down easily when I defended myself and pointed these things out, and yet still was rude to me like I owed her some kind of apology. But I wondered how often she pulled that scam and if she was ever successful with it and got money from it. People can really be pathetic.

Years and years ago my mom opened a can of beanie weenies for us to eat (I'm talking 30 years ago or so) and there was a price of rubber right there on top. It was actually a ring thing that goes on the end of the machine that dispensed the beans in the can. But we just called the number on the can and told them. They sent us stuff to mail it to them in and asked us not to wash it or anything. So we froze it until we got the stuff then mailed it in. They called us a couple weeks later and told us what they figured out and we got a ton of free vouchers and coupons for all the products they sold. Momma didn't even think of suing. I still love beanie weenies! Lol and I'm 40!

I knew someone who worked at Wendy’s during that time and years after and I was told the poor man who owned that particular wendys only had a franchise of like 4 stores. And the poor man lost 50% of his business and Wendys international had to help financially keep him afloat.

PLEASE do the case of the woman with McDonald's coffee. It's interesting because what is "widely known" is actually a twisted version of what McDonald's wanted people to think so that when she won, she would look like someone just out for the money.
I think about this case alot, and how people just assume how its the old womans fault for spilling her coffee. But what is not widely known is that their coffee was way to hot be served to the public and it was SO hot she needed skin grafts. Imagine how hot that needed to be. Actually it was so traumatic that, I drunk hot coffee again 2 years ago and I ALWAYS test with my lips first any hot beverage! I only forgot to test once and I got so scared but I soon realized it wasn’t as painful as the McDonald’s coffee and the burning sensation went away after an hour or so. I once was walking back to my car and a lady got out of the driver seat of her car parked next to mine and rudely said I had dinged her car when I was getting out of mine. (So she didn’t let me know when it supposedly happened? She just watched me walk into the store, waited over an hour until I returned and then addressed me? Yeah right. It was hilarious though because I had nobody with me and I sure as hell didn’t exit my car from the passenger side which is what would have had to have bumped her driver side door. Then also I noticed my Jeep would’ve made contac with her car at an entirely different place than her dumb little scratch was located even if it had dinged her car (which I knew it hadn’t). She backed down easily when I defended myself and pointed these things out, and yet still was rude to me like I owed her some kind of apology. But I wondered how often she pulled that scam and if she was ever successful with it and got money from it. People can really be pathetic.

Years and years ago my mom opened a can of beanie weenies for us to eat (I'm talking 30 years ago or so) and there was a price of rubber right there on top. It was actually a ring thing that goes on the end of the machine that dispensed the beans in the can. But we just called the number on the can and told them. They sent us stuff to mail it to them in and asked us not to wash it or anything. So we froze it until we got the stuff then mailed it in. They called us a couple weeks later and told us what they figured out and we got a ton of free vouchers and coupons for all the products they sold. Momma didn't even think of suing. I still love beanie weenies! Lol and I'm 40!
