Again, our home away from home when in Vegas, tho only in Jan and Feb, summer is way too hot!
Haven't eaten at this buffet for couple of years, as when prices were lower, pre-covid, the food was only okay and the cake and pie slices were like day old. Some things were good, don't get me wrong, the garlic bread was great! But now with prices doubled, didn't seem worth it.
However, your video may persuade us to try again.

It's a good option if you're staying in Downtown and you're craving some AYCE comfort food.
Thank you for doing the cheaper buffets too. Everyone goes high dollar & there is soo many videos on those. This is good food for a good price. Have an awesome spring🌼🌸🐝

This brunch looks yummy. I would sample everything. My favorites are the cheese blintz, sweet potatoes, chicken wings, scalloped potatoes, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. And of course the desserts!!!

As a former frequent Vegas visitor it saddens me to know that the MSS Buffet only opens for dinner on Friday and Saturday. I loved their daily theme dinners nightly (steak and scampi, prime rib, etc.) and will miss it. But I love this place and it always was a place to visit several times during a trip. Thank you so much for the video review. I always enjoy and look forward to your food adventures. Keep up the great work that you do!
We hope they eventually offer dinner service at some point in the future.
I was so happy to see the cheese blintz with blueberries. They are my all time favorites and always makes the breakfast buffet special. I have not seen them in any of the food vids in a long time and was beginning to think they had fallen out of popularity.
agree completely regarding what you get for price if you went for breki somewhere else it be at least 20 and then lunch another 20 at least and then dinner but here at buffet you would not need lunch you would eat enough to last to dinner so 25 worth it. enjoy rest of ur trip u2

I'd recommend the South Point brunch buffet over this one. I believe Bill & Linda have a video on that buffet.

It used to be so busy. Food looked the same. I always thought the food was ok, enough to satisfy your hunger.

I haven't been to Vegas in a long time. Main Street Station was my go to for a late breakfast/brunch. Was a great value.I think with tax and tip I was paying about $14. Closer to $30 now. Welcome to 2023.

Bill n Lisa, Mahalo for the review. The baked sweet potato is one of my favorites and it's been on the buffet for many years. The last time we were there in December 2022 they had these baby sweet potatoes that weren't as good at the larger ones.

hello bill / lisa, thank you for this stream from 2023 - was in vegas in 2022 near paris and bellagio / the price you are trying a buffet is the same price at all the buffets (+/- $5). think my friend told me that the flamingo downtown feel has a nice buffet or across the street at caesar may be $5 is a great place too. my parents ended up really enjoying the mgm buffet with the lion in front. all have 1:45 hours eating time. if you start at 10 then you leave at 1145. elle for leeks potato
That buffet is awesome, so much variety, and Bill, I Googled kalua pork omelette and there is such a thing, you should have showed that omelette chef who gave you that funny look when you ordered it, he would have egg on his face, lol
Next time I’ll custom order a Portuguese sausage omelette. 😋

Great video of our favorite buffets in downtown Vegas!!! Surprising to see that they don't open for dinner on weekdays, I guess it's the sign of the times, oh well!!! Also, to realize they are the last buffets in downtown too!!! Times are a changing since COVID came and alot of that change is still present all over...... most places are struggling to find employees, offering bonuses, more benefits, etc. So memorable to always see all the familiar places!!! Thanks for the great memories!!! This will probably push us into planning another trip to Vegas soon!!! LOL!!! Aloha!!!!
No doubt they're still in recovery mode. We hope they bring back dinner service during the week in the future.
@@billandlisa It boggles my mind to see places like this struggling to find employees. Many places have signs posted "We're Hiring". The confusing part is people spending habits didn't seem to change so how can people be agressively spending money but many of these people don't seem to be working??? It boggles my mind, especially here in Hawaii!!! Where do these people find the money to spend???

Downtown Vegas🍀👍😻. That’s the only buffet I do🍀👍😻. I enjoy the eggs & salmon and fruit👍⭐⭐. I like the lunch items on the buffet too.I watched a movie the other night with the Main Street ceiling. I recognized it👍. Awesome buffet 🎉🎉
The chocolate cake you were curious about is German chocolate cake. It's got a gooey topping with coconut and pecans. It's delicious.

That's a great tip if you want eggs made to order. I am surprised that were so flexible. For some things i like it the way I want it cooked. It might be for everyone but I love the canned corned beef hash. I get Mary's Kitchen or Libby's also.
People in Hawai'i call it kalua pig. Looks good. I may stop by when I travel to Las Vegas next year.
I used to eat there quite frequently pre-covid. I no longer feel it's worth the price. The South Point buffet is cheaper and better.
South Point buffet is great. But, for those staying in Downtown, it's a bit of a drive.

Hi Bill and Lisa have a great rest of your day my friends just FYI, I'll be going in for heart ♥ pacemaker surgery for a replacement of the pacemaker and wire lead is not working so they're gonna try to fix it or put a new wire through my veins hope it works it all depends on my scar tissues for so many years I've had pacemakers since I was a baby 🤱 47yrs ago ! I hadn't been to the Garden Court Buffet since right before they shutdown all buffets in 2020. I'm so glad to see they are running again. The breakfast offerings looked so good but I have to say I was very tempted at the fried chicken and pizza even though it was breakfast time 😁 I always love your Vegas videos! Have a great week!

I ALWAYS buy Mary Kitchens corned beef hash. It my fav breakfast. Pro tip: put a little vinegar on it…any kind. It’s like putting mustard on a corned beef sando. Delish.

It always been a decent buffet. We plan to do brunch there a few times when staying at CIRCA for a week in Sept.
This buffet food looked good. Better than the more expensive offerings of other casino buffets.

Used to do this buffet back in the day(pre-Covid) and always enjoyed it. Went last November for the brunch thing. I thought it was all right for the price but felt it had taken a downward step. Used to be very busy too, but nowhere near the crowds now.
They’re still in recovery mode as they don’t offer dinner service 7 days a week yet.
@@billandlisa Yeah, like you we don't come weekends to Vegas, so I kind of missed the dinner options.
The corned beef hash looked subpar because it is just a mountain of it. I wonder if the egg guy would crisp up a pancake of hash for you too? 🤔 I will have to try doing the kalua pork omelette next time I have some leftover kalua pork, that looked good! 🤤👍

Seems like buffet scenes are disappearing in Vegas…I would order Kahlua pork, chees and jalapeños in my omelet..😅nice to see that good food still exists without rising Vegas prices…another omelet option Portuguese sausage…Mary Kitchen hash!!!
