Stayed there in October 2022 for one night. My vehicle was stolen from their "Gated and guarded lot". The casino did nothing to help and they said it happens often. Maybe all casinos treat car theft like this, but Main Street Station were horrible in a tough situation.
Now THIS is a hotel I'd love to stay at!! Love the old saloon feeling.

Thank for showing us this older Downtown hotel. It looked nice and i'm glad you said it was fairly quiet as it was away from Freemont.. The price was reasonable.

Great place to stay not too crowded. Rooms were nice. I got the renovated rooms. A/C was awesome. It's easy to get out to my car and just a block from Fremont St. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Main Street Station on a comp before covid, loved the 777 brewpub and the video poker at the boars head bar, it's a shame that the restaurant is only open on the weekends now but from your video, didn't seem to be much of a crowd there, at least you checked another place off your list Jay, thanks for posting
Main Street Station is not a resort for sure but it's a cool hotel/casino. If I was a local I'd totally go there regularly.
It's a good place to play old school slots and has a good buffet and cool and unique decor. Definitely worth checking out and they have a good brewery/brewpub too with good deals.
Nicer and classier than some of the other older and smaller Fremont Street hotels in the main section of the street like Fremont and Golden Gate.

I stayed at Main Street Station for 3 nights in October, and I would highly recommend it. A great visit in all ways - friendly and helpful staff and nice rooms (including bathtub) - which you seldom find in Vegas.

It's weird how Main St. Station is owned by Boyd and not Station Casinos. I keep meaning to check that place out, at least the buffet and the Berlin Wall. I usually go downtown for my coupon runs and Boyd apparently don't do coupons anymore. 😞 LOL "Tabo" 🤣 Great video! 😀

I’ve stayed at MSS numerous times and those elevators are da bomb, as long as they don’t stop. LOL. Sigh the Pullman is closed! So sad. It was one of the nicest steakhouses in town. It was as bespoke as it comes. That train car was attached to the steakhouse and served as a whiskey and cigar place. The dining room was a classic and ordering certain cocktails got you a show. They would ignite the liquor and spill it from glass to glass and the flame would make a bridge of fire. Then it was served warm and aromatic. A little less alcohol but it was still great and special. The room is as I remembered, hopefully they’ve changed the mattresses. Oh and at the California, Ethel M, M as in Mars as in M&M Mars. Great chocolates. They used to give a sample if you perused the shop. Great video I hope you enjoyed the buffet as it’s not as good as it was, from recent videos but still more than decent. The Hawaii section is usually very good. Sam Boyd cultivated the Islands to bring in tourists and players, hence all the aloha food and themes. Yummy. Great video, you captured what makes it so special and a fond memory in my heart. I need to visit again on my next trip.

The buffet is very good, and the Hawaiian dishes are excellent.

The original owner of Main Street station was an avid antique collector. He kept all of his antiques at the casino, and when he went bankrupt they had to stay and became part of the property.
I enjoy MSS. Nice hotel and clean room.
Hotel is away from the loud noise and crowd on Fremont especially at nite. Stayed at the D Hotel once and the noise at nite is very LOUD and unbearable!
Held our class reunions at the MSS
hotel. Enjoyed the buffet.
It's a short leisurely walk to Fremont Street.
No negative comments .. Not CREEPY at all! I stayed at MSS many times! It's not a resort but it has its charm and characterI Good food at the brewery.
One tip - book room facing Fremont to avoid freeway noise!
