I have purchased Amaze VX CVT less than a month ago. Already drove 700 kms. It's an amazing car. Very easy to drive. Only downside is initial pic up is slow. But barring tha the car is superb.

i didnt feel the initial pick-up issues...may have to just push a bit hard if you really want it...mileage drops though...but there is enough power for sure...rubber-band effect may kick-in if trying to push hard for initial pickup but the power is there..and the grunt when pushed hard is soooo coool n lovely!
Pick up is definitely low, you will know this if you have driven other cars in the segment. If you revv it hard to get more power it makes a lot of noise. But it is powerful once it is beyond 30+ kms.

mileage: I have vx cvt ..7k done (update: 12k now)...costly car but so far have liked it...mileage differs purely and substantially according to conditions.. if treated well gives more but if pushed will push back on mileage...have done 8 long 500kms trips..ac on always...highway with no traffic at night, I get avg 20-22 at 80kms with full luggage and 2ppl...if I drive 65-80 speed gives 23...highest I have got to see is 24.5 on mid, on the above drive session...if driven at 100 drops badly to 18...above 100 becomes noisy and drops to 16 (but that grunt of the engine sounds sporty and lovely, so you love it when pushed hard)...I have become comfortable with 80 speed as at that d car is at the optimum comfort mileage and feel, and I don't feel like tired on non stop 8 hour drive...in Bangalore gives hardly 11-12 (update: after 10k mileage in city has dropped to 10!) ...drinks petrol if standing idle and this is very odd and surprising..MID seems 98% accurate. mileage improved post 2nd service although I wonder why, since oil isn't changed. forgot to mention that i have always driven at 80 speed and hardly have crossed 100 and use light foot driving technique good n bad: >breaking is not grt so have to plan a bit ahead, is a cvt inherent issue i think... >ac to rear seats on a sunny day is disappointing...basically ac isn't grt on a sunny day as d top becomes very hot which I guess is due to substandard material used above..if not sunny, is good enough >safety wise I feel secured...but cornering isnt grt..steering doesn't gain much weight at high speeds and if tilted while cornering, will make u feel uncomfortable >no body roll so far as I guess they have tweaked the latest model suspension...but sometimes on some roads it makes an appearance but negligible... >ground clearance is ok but on bad roads does make u feel should have got an suv >suspension makes noise on potholes or bad road but the impact doesnt hit d cabin so i guess is a good than bad as d suspensions work is to make u feel good inside.. >I didn't feel initial pickup issues...if pushed hard gives less mileage that's all...u have power if needed at the cost of mileage...and the engine grunt is superb n lovely...can use the downshift to get more power when needed. > speaker system bass is just ok not grt. >ease of use...runs butter smooth...good seats...good interior space...good boot space...awesome looks...premium feeling...no tired feeling after a long drive...acceptable mileage...awesome headlights...you feel you have a luxury at a budget!!
@@RelativePictures I posted my review post 6 months n >7k kms usage and not 6 days usage ..so, for me is a fair review...I have clearly mentioned it differs as per how is treated...if above 100 and pushing hard, it will be 16-18...it is wrong to say it doesnt give more than 18 as i have near and after 2nd service got 22-23 on 4 long drives...i can post the video captured and pics captured...if you travel between blr to dharwad or blr to coorg, let me know, i can show it real time...lets give credit to honda that we can get mileage if we are keen to get by following light foot driving...i have always driven at 80 ( i know that takes you to the destination a lot slower but if i dont want to complain on mileage i have to do it...and d car itself feels very comfortable at 80-95) ...i have also duly highlighted its bads...
@@jobunbf9802 pls check what is light foot driving on you tube...it doesnt mean going slow or not pushing the accelerator...it's about accelerating the right way, breaking the right way and accelerating/decelerating as per the load and the RPM...basically its all about right speed for right power...simply put in amaze, try to get eco mode...that is an indicator of optimal condition for mileage...pls note mileage is at the cost of power,..cant have both at the same time...but can optimize both to get a decent mileage

Yes if 3 ppl are sitting on back seat then it gives jhula experience 😀 but only on bumps or road undulations , not always. suspensions are on softer side thats true
unless is a pot hole road or has unscientific hump or village road, GC is ok..suspension is also i think is ok in the latest one...infotainment screen is ok during the day...but i dont use it much anyway...dont have much expectation from it...this cars usp is not that...but is the cvt and space and mileage if treated well
I was about to buying this car but right now I'm thinking i took a good decision by haven't bought this car. Instead I've booked Altroz xz which is very good in safety, mileage, features, high starting torque, and cheaper sparing parts
yeah..may be works costwise and value wise...but tata engine and honda engines are not comparable according to me...from tiago pursuit, i switched to honda amaze...is costly for sure for the money but feels like a car...boss you will notice what is a good decision when the tata engine makes a noise!! check out Honda engine grunt!! try it and not make online decisions!!!

as jeeva said, you cannot ignore headlamps (awesome for night drives) and alloy wheels (i chose top model just because of these two mainly)...so S is a waste unless u really want to save that money
i brought the car one month back and have driven around 300 kms. My mileage within the city is only 8-9kmpl. When i go long it reaches upto 11kmpl. Only first service is done. Can i expect mileage to improve with second service and more highway driving.?

wait till 3k mileage ...try to use often and on a light foot...it improved after 3k for me and after 2nd service improved a lot...use light foot techniques...cannot give 14 on long drive...definitely should give 16-18

Different price in different cities. In Mumbai I paid 11.15 Lakhs on road. I wanted Naturally aspirated engine with 4 cylinder and either CVT or TC only. Amaze was only car qualifying for these conditions.

altroz is a failed car dont go for it.
Instead of Altroz zx pls try test drive once Honda City 4th Gen v model cost on road price of 11.80 L and SV cost 10.70 lac

If your budget is around 11 Lac I guess don't go for amaze vx cvt. You can purchase Honda city 4th generation SV model on the same price.

Sure you can ,after 2 service i am getting 13 in city ( less traffic) ,so if we are in bumper to bumper traffic ,it will give you around 10 to 12
