I have three little grandsons and I picked up three 12x12 picture frames from my local charity shops and made blackboards out of them and the boys love them.l bought some shadow picture frames and turned them in to key boxes by putting some lovely backing paper on and then six hooks on them so no one can lose their keys again! Love your ideas. ❤
I’ve had mine covered for a few weeks now and I haven’t noticed a difference, but there’s still air flow to it since the box is separated at the bottom. Mine is actually directly across from my front door in my foyer so I think it’s actually helped it not kick on unnecessarily when someone opens the door 😊
Many thermostat the temperature sensor is the bottom and sticks out of thermostat it looks like a thin wire with a tiny bud on it the frame I put over did not obstruct it…plus you can gentle pull out a little so that frame does not cover it
Great ideas thanks for sharing ,you could also screw some small hooks on the underside of the inner shelf or bottom of the actual frame box for your keys 👍😉💛
What awesome amazing ideas you have for pucture frames. You're inspiring with how easy your instructions are. I am glad I found your video. Thank you and blessings.
Love all of these! The one that stores the pictures could be made as gifts with prints included and ready to display for the 4 seasons. Or, sold as sets like that at craft fairs. You always have great ideas!
I love your idea with covering your thermostat, which helped me to think of a frame for my tired looking doorbell speaker! All of your thrifted frame ideas came out gorgeous, even the frame used for sunglasses, placed at your front door! TFS❤
SO clever! I LOVE EVERY ONE! So cool that the pictures can change for seasons, growing children, or decor or mood changes. Also, the conceals are great! Wish I had a cover up idea for my electric box behind the entrance door. It's noticable, ugly (grey), and in a weird spot for decor! But thanks for these wonderful ideas!
Thank you so much!! I used to have an electrical panel right when you walked in the door of my old house too and it drove me crazy. I never thought about it until now, but I probably could have covered it with a big shadow box frame using those command picture hangers 😊
Hi, new subscriber here from Australia. I love your projects with your picture frames, you have some awesome ideas. TFS with everyone. Enjoy your upcoming week. I’m also looking forward to your next video.
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me, Angel! Brilliant ideas! I love everything you've created! The thermostat cover is really pretty but doesn't the temperature in your house get regulated through your thermostat? Wouldn't the cover impede its ability of it to do its job? Thanks for all the great ideas in this video. I'll definitely be trying some of these in my own home! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️ I haven’t noticed the cover hindering the thermostat at all, I think maybe because the box is not completely sealed as one piece. When it’s closed there’s still a gap there at the wall to let air flow in, but someone suggested to just leave that bottom piece off which is a great idea too since you can’t see that piece anyway 😊
Something I did years ago is back a couple of frames, one with lace fabric and one with natural color burlap. Each are perfect for hanging the scores of hook earrings I’ve made over time.
This is the first time that I've found your channel. I love these projects, but I have a question about the thermostat cover. Will covering the thermostat affect the temperature in the room? I can't wait to see more of your videos.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed them! I haven’t noticed it hindering my thermostat at all, but since my box isn’t sealed all the way around, there’s a gap when it’s closed so it still gets air flow. Someone else mentioned you could leave the bottom piece of wood off completely which is a great idea because that piece isn’t visible anyway. 😊
J'aime tes quatre propositions ! Merci !
I use the NY Museum of art open access mostly, but also check the NY public library, and the National Gallery of Art open access. They all have beautiful free art downloads 😊
Just curious but doesn't enclosing the thermostat affect the sensors for the temperature? Isn't the ambient air circulation needed to accurately control the temperature?
I, personally, haven’t noticed any difference for mine and that may be because my box isn’t completely sealed. There is a small gap when it’s closed so I think maybe that’s why it works fine. Someone else mentioned you could leave the bottom piece off too if it does prevent air flow which is a great idea because you can’t even see that bottom part 😊
You could definitely do that! You can’t see the bottom when it’s closed anyway 😁 I’ve had it up for a few weeks now and it doesn’t seem to hinder it at all, but that could be because the bottom wood piece is just attached to the frame and it has air space when closed still 😊
You don’t have to do shabby chic if you don’t like it. Everything is always customizable. Everyone likes different things. Even in this video, you could use modern frames with whatever color you like 😊 old just happens to go with my 100 year old colonial home and I enjoy vintage and antiques.

Fantastic ideas
Thank you! 😊
Oh my gosh I have never seen that Elmer’s glue trick…very cool ❤
Just a caution: Covering your thermostat looks great but then it can’t read the room temperature, and that’s what it’s for.
I love the cover also but was thinking the same thing, I will have to try it! Love the idea!!!
I wonder if putting holes in the frame would help.
Many thermostat the temperature sensor is the bottom and sticks out of thermostat it looks like a thin wire with a tiny bud on it the frame I put over did not obstruct it…plus you can gentle pull out a little so that frame does not cover it

The thermostat cover is functional and pretty. If we weren't using our thermostat so often, I would try this craft myself!
Thank you! We don’t use ours at all for about half the year so I was thrilled to cover it 😁
Clever ideas

That is a great idea! Sounds very pretty too! 😊
@@AngelNichole I applied battery powered mini string lights to the back of the burlaped frame. A glowing showcase, so to speak. 🙂

Angel your crafts as usual are beautiful. You always come through. Also I can't find the sheets of wood that you used from amazon
Thank you so much! ❤️ here’s the link to the wood sheets and I’ll add it in the description too in case this one isn’t clickable 😊

Great ideas ... just needed to paint the screw heads on the last one ...lol...
Thank you! I used the rub n buff on them 😁

What kind of paint is the brown? Would any type of water based work or does it need to be oil based? Ty!! Wonderful content!
Thank you! 😊 it’s just acrylic paint, but really any water based, chalk paint works
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
What we site do you use for art prints. I too would like to swap mine out based on season. Thank you

The thermostat cover is a cute idea , but won't that stop it from reading the
Temp. Maybe leave bottom open , instead of completely covering.
You could definitely do that! You can’t see the bottom when it’s closed anyway 😁 I’ve had it up for a few weeks now and it doesn’t seem to hinder it at all, but that could be because the bottom wood piece is just attached to the frame and it has air space when closed still 😊
@@AngelNichole ok Thanks, just wondering. I appreciate your quick response.
What’s the name of the molds you used with hot glue?
These are the ones I used 😊

I so wish we would come to the end of this shabby chic style. Why does everything have to look old?
You don’t have to do shabby chic if you don’t like it. Everything is always customizable. Everyone likes different things. Even in this video, you could use modern frames with whatever color you like 😊 old just happens to go with my 100 year old colonial home and I enjoy vintage and antiques.
