Steps to fix your device.
1. Heat up the screen
2. Use a pry tool around the edges. bit.ly/2QxCRJn
3. Pry off the screen carefully
4. Remove the screen shield
5. Unplug the screen
6. Put on the new screen
7. Put on the screen shield
8. Use the glue that we offer to seal up the smartwatch
9. Set down the screen
10. Let the glue dry
11. Get back to staying fit.

My screen came off for the second time - this is the replacement I had recieved from FitBit. I ordered your tool kit and glue and hopefully I can put it back together; I was wondering where I could get the glue and how to just glue it back on. Thank you so much for demonstrating this! It gives me hope that I can continue to use my FitBit Versa 3!

I work in construction & haven’t broken my screen yet!!!
The first thing i bought was a clear soft plastic case with a side “button” i never wear the sense without a case at work!!!
Same with my phone! And anything else i want to keep for a long time!!!😄
The sense battery & algorithms are amazing!!! I wear it to bed and use the sense : alarms, clock, timers, QR codes, Alexa, wallet, barcodes, tracker….
… this thing offers alot !!!!

Great Video. I replaced mine because of your instructions. I would recommend anyone trying this, when installing the new screen, install the pay cable (longer, thinner one) first. Then the display cable. It make it easier. Not much detail in this video about connecting either. They are finicky. My cables were trial and error before I got them seated corrrectly.

I actually just needed to figure out what kind of glue to get because whoever put the screen on mine apparently didn't put enough glue to keep the screen face on,
I was sitting in the doctor's office one day looked down to go check my pulse as I have a chronic illness, the face was hanging off of mine legit just needs glued back in place thank you for the vid 😂

Hi there, thanks for the video. When trying to buy the spare part, it looks different than what seen in the video, seems like it doesn't come with that 2nd flex cable (for the NFC). Will that be a problem and make the Fitbit Sense lose NFC/wireless payments if we replace the LCD? Thanks in advance!

I am thinking about fixing a Versa 3 with a cracked screen that I found on ebay. How long do you typically have to heat up the screen for? Also is this a relatively easy repair? I've never fixed a screen before so I'm not sure I could do it.

How does this affect how waterproof the device is? - Obviously it depends on the quality of the application but for good application would you expect the waterproofing to be as good as new?

This is great for removing/reinstalling a screen, but my Sense has a scratched screen. Are replacements available, or do I need to find one for parts?

@@Joesge I am guessing that the reason they don't offer screen fixes is that the cost of a new screen is the same as a new unit.
I have a question about the small yellow band( wire) is it removable from the old screen as it appears replacement LCD screens don’t come with both

Hey I have a quick question. I broke my screen and I have replaced it. Prior to gluing it down, the swipe and tap functions worked on the screen. However after gluing it down I can’t swipe or tap anything. Any ideas before I rip the screen up again?

Had this guy for 2 months decided to wash it today.. lukewarm water and the screen popped out and the whole gasket is off of it.. do I need the gasket or can I just glue it?
my screen is already falling off the bracelet but still works how i maske it stay in place

The glue we used is safe for this unit.
Well the screen replacement costs $200 to buy and a new versa 3 is $200 at the moment.

I never thought a FITNESS watch would be so fragile. Or that the replacement parts would be just as expensive as the watch itself. Strong buyer's remorse over here.
@@Mateo-it6ve I purchased my New Sense in May. One week later I was wearing it and noticed my screen was cracked. Did not even pay for it yet on my credit card. Called the Fit Bit Company and was told that it is not covered under any warranty. I should of canceled the chard but thought that was more hassle. Now i am stuck with a Brand New Fitbit with a broken screen. I should have brought the Apple Watch. Byers remorse!!!!

Sometimes the screen isn't plugged in properly. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

Screen turn all white on the right side and fit bitnwont replace it so now I know hoe to buy a third party one a d so it myself
The unreasonably high cost of the replacement screen mixed with the potential of further damaging the device makes this a somewhat questionable tutorial. It's almost as expensive as buying a new one.
I opted to contact the Fitbit support as my screen lost its touch ability, and though it took some back and forth over 2 hours, they offered me the same device free of charge. (My device was 1.5 years old, so still within warranty.)
Thats interesting because I just contacted Fitbit about my screen. It got scratched somehow and they said the screen couldnt be replaced. I have the versa 3 and they dont make that device anymore :(
