Most of my miles are from AP or FSD. A lot of people don’t realize you can still use the gas pedal during times where you’re able to accelerate or get up to a certain speed. Set the cruising speed to what you want and it sticks based on the over-the-speed limit configuration you give it. It changes everything. Many people either feel lazy and ignorant or even careless that many lives were lost or ruined due to oblivious drivers who cannot understand nor follow even the simplest traffic regulations. What's the point of learning to drive, getting a driver's license, even bothering buying a car if you don't wanna drive? I'm wondering because you mentioned "If you appreciate this comfort of not having to drive by yourself.", "The car drives by itself and you don't have to do anything." Uber would better option I would say. The feature still needs your supervision that means you still have to do something.
Unfortunately Waymo sensors will add excessive cost that the average person can’t afford. That’s the hardware then you have to pay for the software on top. I don’t see it scalable for the average person.

It’s the highway. People are not realizing that it’s the highway that’s making all the difference. It performs very well on highway driving and it will be the first place it’s legal to go level 4. Probably within a year or so. This will mean you get to the highway and then set it on and done have to touch anything until a quarter mile from your exit. Linked Tesla Semis will probably be allowed level 5 highway only within the next 5 years changing the way we ship entirely. Exactly .....we have goats and cows on roads .... At the same time other people who thinks they own the road drive very fast and bad so it will be more dangerous for Tesla to handle this situation ....
I tried it yesterday. I needed to get home by using a freeway. No problem it got me on the freeway changed lanes. Then it wanted to do this, put me on a truck route. No thank you. That particular truck route is very dangerous. A man driving a regular truck was hit by a semi truck after one of the trailer tires had a blowout. He got sideswiped it flipped over his truck. He was ejected and killed. My daughter used it coming home from the store. She had the navigation on to take her home. She was approaching a intersection where the car had to turn left and left only. But her car got in the right turn lane which happened to be a right turn ONLY lane. It would not get back in the left lane to take her home. Neither one of us like it. I would never pay $12,000 thousand dollars for it even if I was in love with it.
After seeing how Tesla has treated its Cybertruck customers as beta testers and easy marks, and how Elon Musk treats people generally, I’d never put my life in the hands of Tesla’s so-called “Full Self Driving Capability”
Not sure folding your arms is ‘ready to take control in an emergency’ you need to be super alert… poised with your hands hovering just over the wheel at all times. It’s a beta version… an error in the software doesn’t just make you lose a document on your computer… an error could cause a collision ending in someone losing their life.
To me, true self-driving is when I can sleep during a ride and not worry about crashing. Until then, it's a fantastic achievement but not quite ready yet.
You said "you don't have to do anything" but also said you had to touch the steering wheel. I don't want one until I can climb in the back and take a nap, eat dinner/breakfast or mess around on my phone. The day that's avaliable I'll have one.
No it wasn't. The reporting on that story is wrong, and you can prove it trivially: FSD Beta doesn't operate on freeways. The Bay Bridge counts as a freeway.
Fsd always does fine, here in LA it’s great for when in traffic, yeah I take my hands off so what ? Since I’ve been using fsd (over a year now) I have only ever had to disengage when getting off because I prefer to drive on the streets myself, I don’t trust other drivers, I trust the car and its ability to keep me safe but not its ability to get me out of an accident from all the idiots around me. I have become so much more attentive to sooo much around me and a lot of it is due to watching channels like wham bam Tesla cam who posts videos of crashes caught on Tesla cam. It’s interesting to see all the different ways accidents are caused and how teslas are affected whether it’s driving itself or if the owner is driving. It’s also interesting to see how the Tesla deals with the accidents. Like I said I’m super attentive which also makes me defensive so I’m very cautious driving, it’s like talking to a brick wall if you’re passenger with me 🤣 and I must have music !
does it stop for cats & pups? does it put on blinkers? does it stop quick if you see your homie so you can pull up. does it read your mind if you want to go for a random cruise & have no destination?

I didnt know I had a problem with this until it happened to me, and Ive been driving for 20 yrs. It was God who got me off the highway bc I basically froze. Anyways, the full autopilot would be a good feature to have in that moment.
Imagine he late and having to get ready but your car drives itself
Police : shpw your license
Me : ask my car i wasn't driving my car was
A total dream 💖 if you tried to do that where I live, you’d crash 3 mins after you start the car
And you know that how, I wonder.
@@jamillikan because COMMON SENSE. I live in México, specifically in a poorly designed town, the streets are maze-like, there are dogs everywhere and that’s not the main problem, but the people driving. No one respects stop signs, always on a rush and above speed limit, not to mention the literal HOLES 🕳️ on the pavement
Imagine if safety systems allowed long distance drivers to get 3 hours of sleep while on the road. It could change everything. It would mean shipping would be 500 mile blocks with 30 minute charges continuously. It will Change the whole game.
Congratulations. It was a long wait
It would never work well in india..the streets are always full with shops stalls and people walking or running
Exactly .....we have goats and cows on roads .... At the same time other people who thinks they own the road drive very fast and bad so it will be more dangerous for Tesla to handle this situation ....
I had a near death experience with autopilot two days ago in my model 3.I will never never ever use it again.
I don’t really enjoy fsd, enhanced autopilot is just perfect enough
I can’t wait to get the update for mine
Yes I love sana francisco the most modern world when it comes to Car .... happy Tesla original car .....no gas .... very easy to manage.....
This is the type of chick that pays $15 for asparagus water.
Fact
Not sure folding your arms is ‘ready to take control in an emergency’ you need to be super alert… poised with your hands hovering just over the wheel at all times. It’s a beta version… an error in the software doesn’t just make you lose a document on your computer… an error could cause a collision ending in someone losing their life.
Wow. IT is so good 💯💯💯
Ok but 10 year olds are gonna steal their parents tesla and buy candy at the store
The day that's avaliable I'll have one.
it was also responsible for a 7 car pile up on the bay bridge last month on thanksgiving, which injured 8 adults and 8 kids.
It was not the Tesla FSD that was responsible for that, true it had a glitch, but the real problem was all the idiots tailgating.
No it wasn't. The reporting on that story is wrong, and you can prove it trivially: FSD Beta doesn't operate on freeways. The Bay Bridge counts as a freeway.
@@DontThinkSo11FSD Beta does work on freeways. It works on all streets using navigate on autopilot.
@StephenCurry-nm7io It does now. It did not at the time. Navigate on Autopilot is not FSD, it's a completely different software stack.
@@DontThinkSo11 FSD version 11 uses single stack for both highway and city driving. When specifically was the story though? I haven't seen it really.
15k for this feature is a lot money
What are some mechanical or technical issues that have come up with the teslas? How much to fix? Or does it hardly ever need fixes?
C'EST LA MELLEUR VIDEO DU MONDE
The good thing about going for a drive is driving. I spose I'm still old fashioned., but I like to drive.
In a nutshell she has a Tesla.
Just be careful for approaching cars. If a car suddenly & aggressively cuts to your lane, please hold the streering wheel and prepare to brake.
Interesting fact: In 1885, Nikola Tesla came up with the idea for self driving cars while watching reruns of the Jetsons on his prototype television.
The beauty of physics
If you have to take control how are you gonna do a complete turn around with a steering wheel like that?
This is the type who lines up at a busy Starbucks drive thru for their nasty latte.
does it stop for cats & pups? does it put on blinkers? does it stop quick if you see your homie so you can pull up. does it read your mind if you want to go for a random cruise & have no destination?
How many times did the phantom braking kick in on you? Or were you not driving long enough for it to slam on its brakes for no reason?
I wish to have it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's very cool but I like having control of the car.
I am 18 and still cant believe that car is driving itself. Amazing, i remember when i was 9, i thought about it and now it is real, full auto pilot for vehicle
All the people that love driving: Goodbye world
I mean they don’t force you to use the feature
