+1 tango msr, was released at like 250 and is still one hell of a value given the reticle and glass quality beating out all the other entry level optics while having a solid mount, caps and levers. Level line like the gucci tango6t is great too. I honestly feel sig sold these optics at break even or at a loss just to grab market share from the early bird PA and strike eagles. Also comes in 1-8 and 1-10 though they’re getting pricey.
I’d honestly not go lower than this, and it’s the new budget lpvo king taking it from the strike Eagle and PA Chineseium optics.

Even razor's FFP 1-10 gen 3's aren't as good as the gen 2e's when it comes to light transmission, reticle brightness and eye box and relief at a superbly high price point. Was hoping that maybe the lesser known 1-8 is a better middle ground.

@@gob7116 not sure yet... I'm messing around with it (not shooting) I'm not sure I like the eye box/eye relief when at max power. 6 and lower is noticeably better but literally just put it on last night.
Seems if I leave it at 3.5/4 power it's great for quick target acquiring.
As of now I'm pretty ok with all of this as each power is going to be used in different scenarios.
Longer range needing higher power I'm probably not looking for as fast target acquiring and can get lined up correctly on the gun.

All of these scopes are marketed to novice shooters, and thus, all have reticle and dial adjustments which serve rangefinding and bullet drop compensation functions that the novice shooter demands but does not know how to use without training. That's the rub, this clutter of functions just serves to subvert the utility of these scopes, which would better serve shooters with a simple second plane post reticle, 1 to 4 power magnification, and MOA graduated elevation/windage dials. Just want to mention that the term "budget" is thrown around to essentially mean.. "if your broke.. this MIGHT work". Not always the case. But if your into shooting a LOT and dont focus on what everyone dreams of in a strictly "i gotta big D and look at what i got.. im better".. ive seen and use some "budget" scopes that function amazingly at 3-400 yards that are quite fine and do the job. Americans get caught up in the glitz and glammer. They like lookin cool and dont want that "image" that a "budget" scope seems (at least to some) to offer. Id say that most people that buy high end gear hardly know what they are doing to begin with. Some of my buddies are absolute savages while running drills and shooting distance. The moral if this story? Look at as many reviews as you can.. and make a decision. You dont need to be wealthy or make the connection that simply paying a lot more cash = better. It doesnt. There is no shame in my game using "budget" anything. When sh*t goes down.. i will say there will be a ton of high end gear left on the battlefield. And if a "budget" thermal sends your soul into the clouds.. the cost of that optic matters not. God bless and get ready🎉🎉

The Vortex came down a lot in price. Optics Planet has it for $210. If you want the 8X Strike Eagle... you can get that for $270 right now.

Vortex is still a Chinese scope acting like it's not!!! Arken for example is definitely better scopes even though they are also manufactured in China!!!! if I can go get me a used Leopold, for less for example (which I CAN!!!) there is no way I am going to get a Vortex!!! the Quality is simply not there for that price demand!!! it's not, not at all!! sellers get kickbacks from Vortex, it don't mean its the better scope it just means it's promoted more because people get paid to promote them..! there are far better budget scopes then this

Little advice if you want to be the type of reviewers you are trying to act like.
    1. Stop looking at each other and look at the camera.
    2. Guy in the blue shirt, stop squeaking your voice.
    3. Take time show the scopes glass, reticle, individually, and comparatively. People want to know what they will see looking through that.
Didn’t even finish this video, but I want the youth to succeed, so practice making good, interesting, quality videos.

Im in the market for an LPVO... i am tired of red dots.
My advice as someone who dove head-first into AR's in 2016... buy once, cry once. It's a tired phrase by now, I undrrstand... but doing the math, all the cash i spent experimenting with sub-par shit... had i saved it and bought good shit... I'd be ahead as far as my budget.

Cheap scopes just lend you to spending 2 to 3 times as much till you get the one you need.
If you want a durable optic and can't save up for a $1800+ LPVO you shouldn't look at anything under that $250 price point.
Vector makes 3 of the scopes you have there. Vector has been under Sig international's interest for decades. The MSR should be at the bottom of anyone's list of budget optics. It's decent enough to to shoot out to 400yds in 6x, but daily cary in a vehicle or if your into practical shooting matches they don't hold up long to abuse.
Monstrom is a range toy class optic that even the Chinese parent manufacturers won't bother to market. It's bad advice for anyone, stay away from Monstrom, Aim, Leapers and budget companies that offer all the features of a high end optic at 1/10th the price. Your getting 1970 cheap .22lr nylon turret technology for that $150 bucks....leave it in the sun for a couple of hours in the western states and see how good it holds zero. Iron sights are really a better option out to 500 meters than a monstrom optic.
Light Optic Works of Japan/Taiwan manufacturers scopes and parts for pretty much everyone. Vortex, Primary Arms, USO, Leupold, Nightforce, Trijicon, EOTech, Nikon/Cabela's and Bushnell....I'm sure I missed a bunch. Burris makes one of the most bullet proof LPVO's under $400, and it's still made mostly in the USA. It's one that should be on anyone's budget list
Currently your best emmiter and retical component's come from Taiwan with a lot of German and Japanese backing. The great Japanese optics people have been loving for years have been using component's machined in Taiwan. Now China owns most of Japan and physically trying to take Taiwan. You don't have to spend $1200 to get into a decent optic, and American owned companies like Swampfox and Arken are putting out some of the best scopes for your dollar if you're on a tight budget.
Check out Joe the Cyclops and the Dark Lord of optics here on TH-cam. They do comparisons threw the optic so you can actually see glass clarity and tracking.

Funny, I got the vortex crossfire BECAUSE it's a 1-4. Took forever to find it but I didn't want more than 4x for the range the ar15 is capable of.
Love the crossfire. Bought it over the strike eagle and would do it again.

Decent video brining up the optics that are affordable but no show of reticle view, comments of FOV or eye relief or mention of haze/distortion on any of the optics. just mentioned a couple and said yeah these are good budget LPVO's. Could have put a little more effort into explaining the reasoning behind each. This video is only good for doing more research on each.
