it's so weird how influential these guys were when i was in middle school. I got my dad to buy me and my brothers airsoft guns and we made little videos on camcorders that used cd-rom discs. Where did all that time go?
Why did TH-cam have to recommend this to me. Makes me miss those days. Everything was so new. Airsoft was still on the rise, TH-cam wasn't run by shareholders, channels did what they were passionate about. Happy that the Rocket Jump/Freddiew crew found their way to bigger and better things though. Just miss those days.
A couple months back, me and my friends were invited over to my friends apartment to shoot some videos, kinda like the ones Freddie shot, but why more shittier. He had picked out a spot about 1/2 a mile from his house. My other friend supplied us with the weapons, guns like airsoft AK's and pistols. To get to this location, we had to walk down a semi-populated road with these guns. All of these guns had orange tips that my friend had spray painted black. So we were walking down the road, 5 guys in black pants and sweaters, carrying what looks like AK's through a business center that housed a day care. So yea, not one of my proudest moments.
That is extremely irresponsible and dangerous. ALWAYS carry airsoft guns in public, and NEVER let them in public view. You are very lucky the police didn't come, and you could've become the next Tamir rice, and ruin airsoft for everyone. Tamir rice already had SB199 pass, and we don't need you screwing it up more. If people like you keep doing this kind of thing, eventually, airsoft guns will be completely orange, and potentially banned in the US because irresponsible kids keep getting themselves shot when going out into public view with airsoft guns.
After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel th-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!
+Terry Yao You're absolutely right, especially if you get a good quality gas blow-back pistol. My cheapest AEG (and my first airsoft gun) was $30, and my current best gas blow-back pistol was $250. Of course my current most expensive AEG was $320.
+Terry Yao I have 4 gas blowback pistols, the cheapest one of them costed $200, rest are $300 and above, i also have 2 gas blowback rifles, they're both above $450
Jesus, I remember watching this when it released. I was in high school and I went out and bought some cheap plastic air soft to shoot a little gun video. This is a trip xD
I still like watching this for some reason... I saw it when it came out and I still watch it now and again, even nearly 4 years later. Maybe I just like guns.
I remember being like 7-10 i loved guns you know like all boys love and i used to watch freddiew because i was so in love with the guns but i was too young to understand the humor but now that i watch these they’re funny af
I watched this the day it came out. And two more times since then. And it's STILL getting recommended to me in my home feed. What more does TH-cam want?
13 years later, I am still fixating on Brandon's pronunciation of "Incontinuity" as "Inconity" and "Conity." Surprised Freddy didn't jump in to correct. Much love and respect from day one
I've been into airsoft for a long time and evike.com is the best website to buy airsoft gun, with another store being airsoftgi.com you can buy online but most airsoft stores are located in California. Personally, I like my H&K G36C which I bought for around $310 plus about $120 in attachments. Many states have airsoft arenas in which many players can meet and host small to large matches. It's a great hobby to get into and I advise it to anybody over the age of 13 and anybody without a small budget. Remember to always wear eye protection when playing.
I know this is an old video, and I know they're 'fake' guns (or, replicas - whatever you feel like calling them)...but anyone seeing this video, and are interested in doing stuff like this, PLEASE be sure to practice GOOD TRIGGER DISCIPLINE! I.e. - keep your finger OFF of the trigger unless you absolutely intend to fire the weapon. Regardless or whether it is Airsoft or a real gun, having trigger discipline is by far one of the most important safety issues that needs to kept in check. I noticed that in this video, there was a LOT of 'booger-hooks' sitting on the trigger while he was waving the gun around. Even when he was saying they 'wanted to test someones weapon handling' (4:08) - this can cause a negligent discharge and possibly injure someone. (Ask how I know - I've got the scar on my cheek to prove it. Could have easily been my eye.). Just wanted to say to have fun, but BE SAFE OUT THERE!! Use common sense, ESPECIALLY when handling a firearm.
I'm 14 and I have 7, but one was plastic, and cheap and it melted. I get all of mine from here. The cheapest one I got is in one of my videos. I got it for $12.50. For starters, you should buy a spring pistol. It's how I started. www.pyramydair.com/airsoft
"Blank guns" are actually real guns that fire special ammunition. Guns aren't exactly readily available in California, especially military grade assault rifles since those are banned in that state.
jared20033 I know it's been 3 years n all but every actor on set would need hearing protection xD.. +people living around a set would complain about nose.
it is $60, its a cheap double eagle plastic gearbox aeg but I prefer the well G36C because it has a working charging handle: www.ebay.com/itm/G36C-Style-High-Power-Electric-Airsoft-Rifle-with-a-Red-Dop-Scope-High-Cap-Mag-/332016902714?hash=item4d4dbfe23a:g:7c0AAOSw0vBUk4ba
+Average Joe Not really because airsoft is milsim. Milsim stands for military simulation, its the point of airsoft. People play this either because they want to be in the military and dont want to die
+Ken Prime That defeats the purpose of wanting to be in the military. And if they're scared of dying, then they shouldn't want to consider joining up anyways. I like airsoft though, I have airsoft guns but have never played in a game. Maybe one day in the future, I will.
You guys should really get some firearm safety education, so you can have more appreciation for the real thing, so when you play with the toys you are more believable. The 21 ft rule is a real thing. They're exact molds of real guns usually molded in blue plastic to teach gun handling techniques. you could paint them up. However they don't have working triggers.
Thats pretty much the big problem right there. You might have time to draw and shoot the guy but that doesnt necessarily mean that he will stop or even slow down before he reaches you. "I got you first" wont matter much if you still end up with a knife in your neck.
I have a hobby store near me with RC Cars, little flying airplanes, and LOADS of Airsoft guns! They have them all over the walls and on racks. First time I walked in there I was amazed! What ever you want they got it! ( They have no Gas Blowback sadly )
It was tested some time back that if you threw a knife at someone under 21 feet; you had a 50-50 chance of hitting him as he shot you. But generally (as long as you were good with the knife) you always threw and hit the knife into the guy before he finished drawing completely and shot you. So it's not a myth. Some guy actually wore ballistic armor and did it with live rounds to prove
Some airsoft guns include fake shell casings to amplify the realism. I'm not certain if the magazine you're talking about actually feeds those casings into the gun (probably not), but it definitely does shoot bbs.
The 21 foot rule is in regards to removing the strap, turning off the safety, aiming and firing. He was getting close to you and you didnt have a holster strap or safety. Its a real thing thats brought up in training for many PDs.
I personally don't like AEGs. I like to go for gas rifles which don't come with automatic fire but have a nice kick to them and I just prefer to not work with an electric weapon. Shotguns wort really well with springers because with pump action you have to do it between shots anyways so you save costs on gas or batteries.
No, they wont use blanks in public. Even if they posted signs and props etc, the sound would draw attention from further places and they might call the police.
Speaking of having swat teams come out, that happened to us at airsoft once, not swat, just a squad car, but we had to get on the ground and everything, it sucked.

You guys should invest in shell ejecting airsoft blow back rifles which are twice as realistic.
***** no, there is no gun powder involved. It uses gas to push the shell out.

more realistic in the flesh.

Tbh it’s weird to see airsoft in a video where the topic is moviemaking and not the game of Airsoft. Honestly it’s a breath of fresh air.
You guys should really get some firearm safety education, so you can have more appreciation for the real thing, so when you play with the toys you are more believable.
The 21 ft rule is a real thing. Notice he did get within striking distance of you even though you were expecting it. Also too, reality is many times people get shot and they keep on coming because of adrenaline and/or other drugs in their system.
For many movies they made prop guns. Check out the Tested video when they make Han Solo's blaster. Solid barrel I beleieve on it. Incapable of projecting anything.
