Mert Marangoz The camera is amazing. And I tested video in a concert VS my friends Pixel2 XL. And the v30 completely destroyed the pixel. The audio quality is perfect and the pixel couldn't get through the fog and lights, v30 was perfectly clear. And for photos, I have no issues even with auto mode. But manual is better anyway and I shoot in RAW.
How much free RAM after turning the smartphone on? Is 4GB enough for comfortable using? (listening to music, surfing in browser at the same etc..). And does it supports USB 3.0/3.1 speed file transfer?
Wow! Thanks very much for these tips! Ordered a V30 Plus today because the price is around $330 (US). Looking forward to learning how to get the most out of the V30 Plus.
What's up Kid, big fan of your TH-cam channel. I've been rocking the S7 since it came to the market, and while back I got a Axon 7 for its Audio features but the camera just doesn't do as well as my S7. Was wondering what you think of V30 camera compared to the S7?
I was a galaxy user than an iPhone user but hated both. now for the last 4 years ive been strictly LG and i love it. V30 is the best phone ive ever had
V30. No headphone jack on Pixel 2XL, and V30 has wireless charging. Not sure if Pixel has this, probably does, haven't checked. Head jack was deal breaker for me.
Elaina Weeks I wouldn't buy a phone without a headphone jack except if they found another universal plug for audio and can use old headphones on it... And ofc if all phones went without them I shall go buy phones from the past.. There's so many good phones like 3 years ago... Tbh if we really don't like how they removed the headphone jack we shouldnt buy any phone with that... Sadly there's not so many people care about it.. And some other "people" say the future is without the jack move on... Dude I understand how people changed from micro USB to USB C... There was something to move to.. But for the 3.5mm jack? Charging port seriously?? That's not even an answer...
LG v30+ A118 can someone tell me if I can permantently lock the home button? So no matter what app you run o do it always shows! And what are the wireless device that works for this phone? What about the samsung wireless one?
Cool features, but i have problem with my LGV30 Screen share, which im unable to connect to my SONY home theatre which has a screen mirror facility, well im able to connect all other smart phones to my SONY Home Theatre but not LG,,,can some one help.
Max, need your help. Going to a concert with my daughter and I'd like to shoot a little video. Which of the current crop of flagship is my best choice for audio and video? Can't afford outboard mics etc... Oh and audio is as important as video with regard to recording something worth playing back.
poeglives the phone he just did a video on has the best mics in the business. Also the V20 but the iPhones (if you're into it) have pretty sweet audio capture for phones as well. Pixel 2 probably for the stabilization but the audio capture is not that great from what I've heard on reviews.
+poeglives LG V30 has HD audio recorder along with advanced audio in manual video recording mode so does all of LG G6 and V20. They would be best for a loud concert.
The RaRa85 dude, for better videos and audio quality check the Nokias. Yes, Nokias. Watched some videos and have been blowned away by the crispness and audio definition.
Felipe Dourado yeah but they're old news now. I still have my Lumia 1020 and it still rocks but all you can do is record video. You can't change the shutter speed, ISO, or fine tune the white balance. And you can't control the gain or other settings in audio while recording. Basically they're still good but have been left behind by new technology and hardware features.
I don't remember seeing you do a "feature" video for the note 8. You must really like the v30! :) I myself would get it. But I'm already rocking a G5 and want to try another brand. (waiting for the note 9, CANT WAAAAIIIIIT!) LG is pretty cool tho! I'm gonna miss the wide angle the most!
Dr Mundo the G5 despite some of its small build quality issues is still a cool device and still runs pretty well , and the combined finger print reader and power on/off rocks , way better than face id or eye scanners imo ;) . Edit : And ditto to the wide lens .
you know what I would agree with you for the most part about the finger print sensor...but I recently had to work on something that required wearing a glove and unlocking the phone became a major pain (knock code saved the day though) and I was thinking, at the time, that face unlock would actually be really useful
Max Lee Pwm is not a personal feature. It's a brightness control. I suggest you to study this PWM: The PWM brightness regulation is another typical characteristic of an OLED panel, and this is the case for the iPhone X and V30 as well. We can measure a comparatively low frequency of 240 Hz as soon as the luminance is at 50% or below. Sensitive users should get the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus with an LC display, where we did not determine PWM. In addition to the 240 Hz PWM, we can also measure a slight flickering at 60 Hz (see screenshots below) at higher brightness levels (even at the maximum).
I looooooove my V30!
Düdmæng Brøssøvítçh What about camera? Most of Tech Channels didnt like it.

All these are available on the G6 too 🤗

Good information even in 2019.

Thank you.i found the Las vegas theme.awesome
Using SwiftKey keyboard, it's the best!
LG V30 or pixel 2? or maybe OP 5t?
Pixel 2 hands down. I got it last week and it blows away the LG V30.
Pixel 2 if you care about software, v30 if you care about design. Op5t is a pretty happy medium for quite a bit cheaper. I'd personally go for the 5t
You're destroying the hell out of your phone and battery with that wallpaper
+mike hunt Not really. Battery life is not too bad actually.
How long do you look at your wallpaper for it to decrease battery life as much as you're thinking?
I think signing up for your two year warranty is a must!
Can you root this phone yet??
LG V30 looks sweet
Cool lgg6 does a lot of that too
exactly, "a lot". Not EVERYTHING buddy
Diego Zuniga smh.... i think he was just pointing it out to those who didn't know
Wow really HIGH ON ANDROID !!!
You forgot signature wallpaper :)
How do i download 360 wallpaper on verizon?

Where the fuck was this when I was using my V30?!

Deivi Josue
Wait for g7
+Deivi Josue Yeah I love the V30. This is LG's best phone yet.
Max Lee v20 good on the price for a us996 factory unlock 400 bucks
Billy Routh yessir!
Yes! I have G6 & V30. The V30 is leaps and bounds better!
Anyone got a bad Oled on this V30?
Burn light or unevenly brightness?
November 26 is my birthday!!
G5 has that too, lol....
Yup... Just as you said... bitcoin above 10k
Boom-Shacka lacka
Epic vid
Way too fast to absorb all that info
V30 has screen flickering....too bad for sensitive eyes
+Aquila Imperiale Nah that is from my camera shutter speed. No flickering whatsoever in real life.
Max Lee Yes MaX. Every Oled screen has PWM for brightness control. Look at notebookcheck
+Aquila Imperiale I have pretty sensitive eyes -11.0 om both eyes. I notice ZERO flicker.
