Thank you Stephanie for this video! I hope to move out of the U.S. soon, I've never felt at home in this country despite being born and raised in the U.S. I was forced out of my job as a Spanish language instructor at a University due to racism from colleagues, higher-ups, and students. Now, I am teaching Spanish online to expats or beginner Spanish language learners who wish to fully integrate into Spanish-speaking countries. If you or anyone else here are looking to learn fluent Spanish, I have resources available on my platform tailored specifically to beginners starting from scratch!
It's not fake. People in Merida does the same thing when it's in the 70's. It's cold to their body because the heat is so so hot to their bodies in the summer. So, 70 is cold to them.
I live in Huntington Beach, CA and when we' re wearing heavy jackets and sweats in 70 degrees, we know you're a tourist when we see them in shorts & flip flops😂
This is gonna be good! Thanks for sharing these considerations Stephanie. I would add community and population. When I visited a town by the beach in Portugal, really beautiful, there were people in their mid age and couples that came to relax. Where as if someone was looking for a massive youth culture that wouldnt be the town to live. This is something I never initially considered when moving.
Luv ur list Stephanie, ur looking so cute w ur sister locks ❤this is what I came up with additional for me •Medical •I would add the cost of living cost • Crime Rate • Non GMO natural food • Community of Expats • surrounding Countries • how people in general treat you As a woman of color • language . Good evening! This was great. I factored a lot of this into my scouting trip last year. The pharmacy aspect was great. They were always great. If they didn't have something, they out an order in for me.
There is a market near the la calendaria area, south of you. They might have vanilla bean or extract there. I cannot remember the name of the market, but there is one. I will be there in the summer . I will likely spend time between Envigado and Bogota..don’t forget to visit the salt cathedral. It’s touristy, but I hear it’s not too far from Bogota.
9:15 They aren’t hot. I spent a summer in Chicago and I had to wear a hoodie or sweater. Everyone said it was hot but I was chilly. I’m from Louisiana, raised in Texas.

Hey, Chelsea! Is there anyway to get in contact with you outside of TH-cam? I’d love to take Spanish lessons versus using these apps. Thank you!
I am also interested in Spanish classes for beginners

🤣🤣 70° is cold for me. I understand the locals with their jackets on. I need a minimum of 76° to be comfortable 😅
Yes ma'am, I agree. Anything below 75 degrees is cold for me. I live in Texas, I'm all for hot weather.
