- The new WhatsApp update brings a new feature that WhatsApp users have been waiting for since quite some time. The ability to use same WhatsApp account on multiple phones and no, this does not require beta. This new update is now rolling out in the stable version.

The best feature is yet to come wherein a user can have multiple accounts on one WhatsApp app on one device. Now-a-days everybody has a dual sim phone so we need to use a regular WhatsApp and a business WhatsApp. If you have a feature like messenger wherein you can use multiple accounts on one app, that would be best.

Funny how everyone assumes that the iPhone is going to be the 'primary' phone. i have an old iPhone 7 lying around and I want it to be my secondary phone :P
I have a new iphone but still want it to be secondary and there is not option there :P

Guys do not take screenshot of his QR code and scan it on your WhatsApp otherwise you’ll sync his WhatsApp on your phone. That’s not cool

My primary ph is Android and secondary is iPhone...but iPhone is missing the option called"link to existing account"💔

I am using updated Whatsapp version. Still not able to see the option “Link Device To Existing Account”.
Open whatsapp
Don't go to settings
and click on menu/ 3 vertical dots@ top right corner...
Drop down menu shows linked devices... Click and scan the QR code on secondary device...
This update will be available in 18.2 or greater versions

Yes, three dots are not visible for linking iPhone as secondary device. Tried many times installing & uninstalling WA on both iOS & Android devices. iPhone as main and Android as secondary option works. If I am incorrect then please make video and show opposite is also possible!!

Can’t upload status, or share your live location, you need to save a contact from the original WhatsApp account phone only then it’ll save the contact. These few things are an issue… but really a good feature

There is no option for link an existing account. Just Help option is showing
I had the same issue, downloaded WhatsApp APK from the official website and it worked.
Instead of downloading apk, just remove the sim from the device in which you're linking the WP connect to wifi and restart WP and that option will appear
Try to update your app to the latest version

Just remove the sim Card or turn off the sim on new mobile. You'll get the link existing device option.After Registration insert sim or turn on sim.

Its working flawlessly only issie is, that u cannot set status from the secondary phone.
If i do this on my 10 devices my mom call would be devastating
