Oh my goodness, I've been looking around for awhile now wanting to get into Solo roleplaying and just could never contextualize how Solo roleplaying works and how to use supplements like Mythic GME. After watching Me, Myself and Die explain the emulator and then watching your video where you're actually applying those things has helped SO MUCH.
That's awesome to hear! Glad my video could help out. I'm a big fan of Mythic GME and will definitely be using more on the channel in the near future (including this Sunday with the Fallout 2d20 RPG)
This is a fantastic demo of how to use Mythic, thank you! What I'm unclearon is how D&D fits in here... All I'm really seeing is Mythic being used. Forgive me if I'm asking an obvious question - I'm be too both Mythic and D&D.
Glad it was helpful! Yeah, this episode ended up surprisingly not using D&D mechanics much (I think I only did 1 or 2 skill checks). The next episode I did incorporated D&D more, including some combat
Great video! I am just starting to get into the solo play, where I work and live I do not have much of a choice. I think that you should have gone with an increase of the chaos factor vice a decrease, but I think that is just part of what makes this in individual thing. I also would have had a different direction with the guards and the clues. But again this is what makes this a good thing to use. Thanks again.
Thanks! It seems to get the job done. I've been using a slightly modified version recently with different numbers that instead of adding up to 4 to the base number, the modifier varies from -2 to +2 to keep the numbers from changing as much
new to exploring solo rpg gaming. enjoyed this video thank you 🙂 would like to try Mythic GME 2e and notice there is an official App to download that I can't seem to find anyone who has talked about. I can't really tell if it looks complete in the same features as the book. do you have any knowledge of the app perhaps. im hoping to hear it's wonderful. thanks a lot
That's interesting and was not intentional! I forgot where I found the name, but it was from some random name generator (i think fantasynamegenerators.com)

Yeh I've been using Mythic GM Emulator as well.... it's really good :)
I use it with Savage Rifts games. :)
That subtle monster hunter BGM in the background... Very nice.
I hope you keep playing solo TRPGs!
Thanks! I've really been enjoying solo TTRPGs so there will more to come soon
Thanks for the awesome video. Just subscribed
Great video man, thanks for this!
No problem! Had a lot of fun with this one and will definitely do more videos using Mythic in the future
I like the idea of a random DC generator.....

So, Gm emulator should work fine with dnd first and second edition
I haven't personally tried but I imagine it works similarly
Probably even better in the sense that old school d&d is lighter to run on its own so it's easier to handle the Mythic stuff on the side.

There is a FoundryVTT plugin, which comes with the complete Mythic tables. How ever there is no explanation or anything on how to use it.
Your barbarian’s name is actually Horse ? (The English translation of it at least) ?

@@boardgameswiththomas oh.. Excellent
From what I can tell, gernas is the genitive of gernaz in Proto-Germanic, meaning something like "of the willing"
@@ArkhBaegorI think the question was about "Cheval" which is the french word for "Horse"
@@fredcff2889 I know, I'm actually French, not sure why I wrote that comment tbh, maybe someone deleted a comment
quick question what PC app/program are you using?
It's called 'Foundry Virtual Tabletop'. It's a great program that can support a ton of different game systems (like D&D 5e used in this video)
