Hi it will take near about 15 days to deliver the passport at your local address. Next, it is depend on the location, in Ottawa they will take everything from you inside the embassy and give it to you after the interview but at other locations might be different. You can ask them or google it.

Oh yeah bro I understand now, for domestic flights in canada you need any government issued photo id for travelling so driver license is also okay for returning after passing the interview and you can submit your passport for stamping.
