@@BoiseDiesel I've got one from cube nutrail , built up a custom 29er wheelset for summer trails too. Norco have a bike too, running either rigid or front suspension.
So, what separates the two, a few mls of travel, geometry, tyres? I doubt if the true riding difference is much different for the ordinary punter other than bragging rights maybe....
I’m an Enduro guy but for my next bike I am considering the bigger 180mm travel bikes but not sure (I haven’t Demo’d any yet) In this video, I would have liked to see both bikes on park and natural trails. The New eNiner bikes look very nice!
I owned 8 Niner bikes in the pass and loved them all but changed to a Kenevo earlier this year. I think Niner got it perfect on the WFO and will make the change next year.
Out of those two. The shuttle ebike is my preference. But both are very nice. Great videography and you two are of the few who can make a person watch a 13 min commercial. But I'm still sticking with my Efatbike! Sometimes throttles beat all!
Bike manufacturers realised a long time ago, that they can make minor tweaks to their existing bikes, then make a new class up, and kerching limitless income. Then get the cycling channels onboard to convince viewers they will need more bikes than your local bike shop to fully appreciate the sport. My advice, don't believe the hype, you can use any bike you want, the only limit is the individuals skill on the bike. I have seen guys on old hard tail bikes fly past guys on new FS bikes.
I love my Devinci AC, even better now that I've put a fox 38 on it and a works components 1° headset on it. Depending on the rides I'll either run the dhx2 or dpx2, killer bike for East Kootenays BC. Just need Shimano to offer empty battery casings for park days.
I'm new to the electric shuttle bikes, although I'm aware of ppl slapping dual crown forks on their ebikes. But wouldn't one just opt for the burlier bike and call it a day? I get it's not as nimble but being able to tackle rougher terrain without necessarily giving up climbing ability sounds awesome.
Great and entertaining video. I was wondering, from all the bikes you lycky gits have ridden this year, what are Your personal favourites and why? Screw brand neutrality, I am curious!
Great video as always. The more i watch the more i want to buy an emtb. I just can’t decide, which one. I’ve ridden a specialized levo and love it, but don’t know if i’m paying more for the name and i could get more for my money with another brand. I want to be an exploring rider so any suggestions would be welcome
I’d avoid Specialized unless you have a great dealer, the Brose motors have always been unreliable in the long run. I’d go with a Yamaha motor, and when it breaks, screw the warranty and repair it yourself, battery pack included.
Exactly! Its all marketing. A 6'3" person riding a 29 will find the bike 'snappy' at the back, where as a 5'7" riding a 27.5 wheel will feel the opposite.
A lot of American riders still think Emtbs are the work of the Devil. Looking at a video in Sedona I discovered that they are still banned???Guns are Ok ??? Emtbs are not compulsory and not really for racing. It's sometimes nice to still ride our naturally aspirated Mtbs but why you would want to miss the FUN FUN FUN and extra exploring capabilities of these Time Machines. E=Mtb² .
Pretty disappointing bike from Niner in my eyes. Took them an eternity to come out with an ebike, now it's available, it does nothing better than the competitors. Middle speced, extremely heavy with about 25kg and for over 6000 euro you don't even get carbon. I don't see a single reason to buy this bike, except you are a true fan of this brand :/
I think that our Queen's loyal subjects might use different terminology that we do on the west side of the pond. What they are calling a shuttle bike I would call an enduro bike, and what they're calling an enduro bike I would call an all-mountain bike.
As an ebike user (allmtn 8 + Adventr 6) I am about to stop subscribing, because: - Annoying LOUD music in this video, turn the volume down to max 1/3 of this, (and change the music) - too shorth clips that dont give an impression of moment, try to have more than 1 sek bits - too close camera filming on most all clips The video feels stressed, noicy just as COMERCIALs do. This chanel will not take off when the production of the video makes the wiever feels stressed and annoyed, just sayin...
Which bike would you choose?
Enduro, all day !
180mm travel for the win!
When does the E Fat Bike come out? :)

@@yakbiker75 Thanks for the info - A good winter E-Fatbike would be a blast!

Yeah there's no such thing as a shuttle.
This is obviously paid PR content. It is interesting to see how the show handles it. I'm seriously disappointed.
Can we pause for a minute to appreciate how slick that stick catch was at 5:37? Doesn't even miss a beat.
Loving the footage and editing of this!!! You guys really stepped up your game

E Enduro & swap rear to 27.5, I have short legs and Steve made great point about trying to get behind seat on 29er. Great camera work & production.

Shuttle bike all day for me. DH laps are just that much better

You don't need 180mm for those smooth tobogan like runs, 150/160mm is all that's needed.
Great episode guys! You may have found my first EMTB for me! Colorado is just next door.
Good video I love watching you guys ride together and your opinions on all the new bikes and products. Thanks!
getting better at video production, worth the effort from your team

I see got the niners. I have not received mine yet. 9 more days approximately.
NINER Bikes are........Very
IMPRESSIVE !!!!!!!
What do you think of the Stevens 2021 enduro whith the shimano EP8? Would love to see a review.
Nice! 😎🤙 did they happen to fix the battery rattling issue?
What ridge were you riding in the black mountains? Is it open and free to ride?
I’m surprised that they are both “25kg” considering the heavier tyres, bigger forks and coil spring shock🤔

Difference between 27.5 and 29 is a lot less than "the experts" tell us. It's more about marketing...

In Germany we have Euro 💶

In the USA we have $$$$.
The math to convert is easy
Test Between a Santa Cruz heckler and an SWORKS Levo.. not the sub standard models you guys continuously show.
Love my wfo
I do wish people would stop using the term “acoustic” mountain bike. Mountain biking has nothing to do with sound.
...get both?
methyldioxymethamps if you have the money to
A CUBE STEREO HYBRID 160 HPC TM 625 offers significantly better value at a comparable price point.
Shuttle bike? Let me google what that is.... oh so it can go on water.

more marketing nonsense
none of them, terrible specs for that price ...
