    I can imagine how disappointed you were at losing those trees. When you were clearing, you pointed out all the trees you wanted to save, and when you did the original walk-through showing this and the pond sites how excited you were at all the beautiful trees. It still is gorgeous and with the pond is going to be very relaxing. Good job on the gate!🤣I enjoy your farm builds, thanks for sharing them.

    That’s going to be a beautiful spot for a cabin, especially once the pond is full and cleared up. It sure help on doing projects on your property when you own all the equipment that you do.

    That's going to be one beautiful view for cabin guests once the ponds full and grass surrounding it.
    The White Oak is absolutely beautiful, glad you saved it.
    The little Maple will fill out now with less competition for sunlight.
    It's top was growing towards the pond because of the trees Chris took down were blocking it.

    You may drop a lot of trees but you really think about it and try to preserve as many mature shade trees as you possibly can. You have thoughtfully dropped trees.
    You have a gorgeous farm and I cannot wait to see your cabins completed.

    You could put a 100 watt solar panel on the rops and trickle charge the battery in the machines that don't get used much and are sitting outside. Nice cabin lot!

    What did a man ever do before we had quick attach on equipment, the thought of having to drive pins of one attachment then move the equipment around to the other attachment and line up pins and drive them back in, makes my back ache just thinking about it. No farm video is complete with out Betty strutting her stuff around a little, always a pleasure watching sir, thanks for the update.

    That makes the stump removal fast when you push the full tree over because you have the tree as leverage makes it easier than if the tree had been cut down

  • @markpashia7067
    @markpashia7067 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    It is looking good Chris. Even the improvements in that field is impressive. That one corner with all the rocks that was not productive looks to be producing now and the pond and cabin site look great. I might have to look at spending a few days when you get it built and listed. Living in town with neighbors is hard for me so a few days of private space in the woods near water is just what the doctor ordered. Soaking some sun and reading a book in a lawn chair is always nice when away from city sounds.

      @@njonebale7889 I only have them on the equipment I don't use daily. The 955 would something I would put one on. I have 6 solar tenders and 12 pieces of equipment. If one is going to be sitting for a while I put one on it. It prolongs the batteries life and it is one less thing to worry about. They are far cheaper than buying new batteries.

    Ok, take down the trees needed to put in the cabin and then plant some nice trees that will grow and give you back the shade. You have done a lot of great improvements to that place since 2017. About the only thing I can say besides that's a beautiful spot.. I'd take those logs (and a few more from some of the other clearing jobs you do), find someone with a sawmill (like Diesel Creek Has) and cut those logs into slabs to use to use a cladding on the cabin to give a a truely rustic look that can't be beat. Not like they are more useful in other places.. and better than pulpwood too... Other than that, fun to see some of the work for yourself.

    @letsdig18 If you want to add an auto reverse for your fan, we can build one that will work independently of the volvo equipment. You would just need a pigtail and socket to match the fan wiring harness and insert it between the wring harness and the fan. Cheers

    Thank you for the video Chris, You probably know that when Clinton and Kevin brought your D7 to you, they stopped on the way home and bought a really big ladder truck from a fire department that goes up to 105 feet in the air and pumps out water on fires! I'm surprised Uncle Scott or Clinton didn't offer it to you so you can be less concerned about large burn piles getting away on you and if your cabin catches fire you can put it out yourself. You know you want one. :)
