- Preliminary video of my new animatronic head.
Just the mouth for now.
Total of 14 servo's used and controlled by 32ch servo controller.
All white parts are 3D printed in ABS.
The lips are printed in Ninjaflex. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Extremely impressive. I'm not sure if you care to try animating a specific speech pattern. But I might suggest filming it at half speed and then speeding it up to match the audio. That's basically how they did Little Shop of Horrors so well, back in the day.

This is awesome. I am trying to figure out how to make a set of animatronic puppets simply open and close their mouths to lyrics. Do you have any suggestions on how I can figure out how to make this or what I would need?

There is so many things wrong with watching this but it's cool
WOuld be nice if you work with someone else to make a custom mask of "Sauron" mouth and using a AI and your microphone or scaning your face you can recreate the movements in real time of you in the robot.

Not everyone spends 90% of their time on their computer editing shit, chances are they didnt want to buy a program and wasnt comfortable torrenting one

Very simple to make. You just need a 3D printer, some spare time, and a pHd in electrical engineering.

what software are you using to control?
I used the pc program supplied with the 32ch servo controller to record a script. It's just playing the script

Not to much, couple of cheap ebay servo's, ball bearings and hobbyking ball joints. Rest is 3D printed.
