Great video as always but I'd suggest to make the face cam a bit less wide, half of it is only your room anyway and we'd be able to see more of the gameplay
10:55 the H is always silent in Spanish, so Huesca is pronounced like "Wesca". Also, being a little bit perfectionist, 3:45 Aragon is stressed in the last syllable. Otherwise you do pronounce Spanish names nearly perfectly but I realised those two """"mistakes"""" in this video hahaha.
@@igaraba I have no idea how I never knew the first thing, I’ve just been saying “jua” all these years 😭 it makes so much sense too! As for the second thing, though, I know how Aragón is pronounced in Spanish, but I was just saying it the English way (which is inconsistent, I know, but I do actually know how to say it the real way too)
@jakelyonsgeo yeah, it is true that it is much easier to stress it in the first syllable if you're speaking in English, I just noted it bc I know you like pronouncing things as correctly as possible haha. But I doubt someone else will ever point that out, it's perfectly fine to pronounce it like that in English haha
that antelope valley sign is a standard unincorporated Los Angeles county sign - the name in script font in the top left is the name of the region but you will see those signs anywhere in unincorporated LA county with only a few exceptions such as the lancaster/palmdale grid (which 280th was an extension of)
Quite enjoyed the replay of rounds in the last game. I find it interesting to see what other players do to make you feel like they are a cheat or alt. Right, time to watch the vid on your other channel 👍
Keep up the good work! Which country would you say is easiest to navigate overall? I.e. if you don't have any prior knowledge, which country has the most comprehensive and intuitive signage/road systems etc?
That Finland round against Barry The Bee was Gen 2. I think that the region where he clicked (200-300 km around Vaasa) has by far the most Gen 2 in Finland. Someone posted this in the Lyons Den. I can't find it anymore though so take the region I mentioned to too literally.
You're a great player but maybe play some no move? I think it'll improve your moving games a lot more. P.S. you're one of my favorite channels keep it up!
theres no concrete rule against it afaik, however, it kinda is an unwritten rule not to make alt accounts but that has been thrown out of the window now it seems, since everybody is making alt accounts these days
100% legal, but also completely ball-less and pretty much pointless, other than to boost your ego. You just go through bunch of newbies and mid players to end up more or less where you belong and achieve not much. Normally you'd spent that time on practicing vs opponents you might face in tournaments or at the top of ladder, learning their habits etc., so this is otherwise just lost time.
I woulda checked as well after that Croatia guess. But sometimes, people just plonk a lucky plonk. I know I've done it a lot of times. Fact that they didnt seem to be scripting in the multis would have probably satisfied me enough to not check it out....since any cheaters I usually face suddenly turn on the scripts when the mutis start, not the other way around. Sucks that alts are still allowed.
In a world of nmpz instasenders, Jake's keeping moving alive 💪
51:35 In the Slovakia round, the town name was Lehota pod Vtáčnikom. If you know the Vtáčnik Mountains, you might click where Nik did.
See me personally I am 845th in moving, so Imma lock in real quick if you guys don't mind
Last opponent: 1900 rating, Canadian flag, pav avatar. I wonder.
29:04 it hits different when you don't know something in your own home state, same thing happens to me 😂
Really enjoying the series, great stuff!
You had one friend in common with that last opponent so if that is an alt it probably tells you whose alt it is
17:15 Woodbury is where a season of The Walking Dead took place lol
Jake & pop culture have a standing agreement to not interact.
That blue mosque from the last round is one of the main attractions in Kazan by the way. Somewhat famous in Russia
Amazing Kazan guess for the win 🐐👑
gen 2 fall finland i click there. i shouldve instaguessed italy but that felt petty so. ggs wp
I've had a round in Antelope Valley and I was just as confused as you when I got it.

it's crazy how long duels last now that there's proper matchmaking
That last game was pure 🔥

47:35 I would be interested to see a replay of how the opponent insta guessed so close on Mexico Tabasco round
The moving GOAT 🔥
Surely when you see a mosque in Russia the logical guess is Mosque-ow?

Jake needs to study his CA High Desert place names! Lancaster/Antelope Valley/Apple Valley/Palmdale is all up there
That California round stunlocked you lmao, still talking about it 3 rounds after
So locked in on that 2nd round 🐐
Nice, that will work :-)
Great games🎉

@@donny5886 maybe, I just don’t find it as interesting
What was the name of that italian town, when you have resuscitated your game?
yeah u hallucinated
I was yelling at my phone ITS LANCASTER on the CA round but I don't think you heard
@@Linkzcap sorry, the sound doesn’t travel too well

I still don't quite understand, is alts legal or illegal? imo it's illegal tho.

@@barleduckgeo I see
Not illegal. But very much frowned upon by the majority of players.
Legal but some players dislike it
