Maybe use the green mascara just on the tips of your lashes after doing the normal black all of over. sort of unicorn, ombre look with a super simple eye look and some dramatic winged liner, easy sping/summer night look. xx
I thought it would be cool as like an accent colour just on the bottom lashes or something too!! Xx

I would never wear that green mascara.
The mascaras are not coloured the colour on the lid is to show what they do xx to colour coordinate it

+Linda Ciaravino they're not color mascaras...the tops are colored to make it easier to know what kind of formula it is. :) i agree though, i wouldn't want to wear a green mascara either :p
+holly renee Watch to the end. The first set of mascaras she showed were colour coded lids, however at the end she looks at YSL's green coloured mascara.

I would wear the Y S L colored mascara as a second coat on tips of lashes. 💗
That Mascara from YSL is actually nice to use on the tips and the bottom lashes but it can be hard to make it an everyday look. Especially if you use it with the eye colours.
Personally I love the eye colours i found them to be easy to work with and that green is great to work with even for an everyday look.

Fleur - have you tried the Vitalumiere foundation from Chanel? If so, just wondering what shade you were. I'm loving the dewy look with foundations lately so I wanted to try it.

I believe all Chanel foundations have the same numbering for the same colors. So in Vitalumiere Aqua and the regular Vitalumiere she is probably both 20. (This is at least how it works for me). The regular Vitalumiere is quite a heavy foundation, it is oily and thick. Not in coverage, but in formulation. For my dry skin in winter it is a nice combination, not sure how it would work on other, oilier skin...

I bought the Revlon volume and length (the blue) mascara right after Christmas and love it!
You could try the green mascara on just the bottom lashes. I use brightly colored eyeliner on just the bottom for a pop of color on a more neutral eye.
Omg! Green mascara...I have seen girl on the airport wearing colour like this. Absolutely crazy!

Did you buy them? Or was you sent them? Because, so often you speak about products and we never see you use them again.. I'd love any product sent for free.. Never a bad review when you don't buy them but are effectively sponsored.. No different to an advert.

+Mel Parkin She was almost guaranteed sent them as they weren't available to buy for a while. Not exactly a sponsored video as she wasn't paid to talk about the products as she got them for free. I do see what you're saying though!! :)
+Mel Parkin these are PR samples that are sent to her, she has stated that in previous "what's new in beauty" videos. It's up to her whether she shows the things she is sent, and she knows her audience would like to see new launches and what's available. It's her job to show us products, she said she doesn't like some of the products and she clearly didn't show us every little thing that got sent to her because Shaaanxo does and it's like more crap than you would ever believe. If you don't like these types of videos you don't have to watch...
Tell me the difference between her, and an advert? After watching TH-camr bloggers for many years.. they change from being objective to being advertisers.. hardly ever a negative comment.. Everything is wonderful, does what the packaging says.. I am well aware of the description box.. But why not say at the beginning. I was sent these, and can only do a video giving positive reviews on these products.. because I sold out to the PR company? I want honesty.. is that too much to ask?

my favourite colour is green, so yes I would wear that green mascara.
Fleur my eyes are more or less the same colour as yours and I would totally wear that green YSL mascara, particularly on my bottom lash xxx
I used to have green hair so back then I probably would have worn that green mascara. Not now though. I still wear blue mascara quite regularly though.
I love that you're honest about the green in those YSL products, gorgeous makeup line overall, but that green makes it look a bit tacky.
For the ysl eyeshadow, you could try using the green as an inner corner highlight. I saw it on Katie McGrath from "Merlin" and it looks so good!

I for one would never wear the green mascara out normally but I think it would look phenomenal for music festivals and edm concerts. I would buy some but not at the price of a YSL mascara.

Another new mascara (came out on Boxing Day) is the No7 Velvet Lash. Would highly recommend if you like the volumised, false lash look!

I wonder if the green mascara was more intended to be used as a first layer, to tint the eyelashes a bit before going in with black, or to put on after black, so that it gives the lashes a hint of green to bring out eyes etc, as opposed to being used on its own

Im working in the cosmetic branche so I had my hands on every new beauty launch, I am pretty impressed with the new colored mascaras from ysl, especially the pink one, there super opace on the lashes. But BOBBI BROWN has launched a new mascara you need to try it, I am very picky with mascaras but this one is the bomb

+2011lillian It doesn't look exactly the same. The butterfly wand has bristles on both sides, even though only one side is curved (with the exception of the double-winged "intenza" wand).
The butterfly one is the same as the 'flutter' version in the UK. x

That YSL mascara took me right back to the 90s when I had an obsession with hair mascara. Green, blue and pink - I was a cool kid... :/
My lips are so pigmented by themselves, I don't really get that excited about all the Clarins releases. They are really pricey fro tinted lip balms I feel.

The light green is what I probably would wear for a makeup tutorial or something like that, but I'd prefer a very light blue or purple over a green as it clashes with my eyes. :)
