Return the concealer. Spent many years working for Boots and the biggest priority was avoiding customer complaints. I was once told to return a half used bottle of perfume because it suddenly was giving the customer "headaches". If the actual tube of concealer was unopened it will end up back on the shelf or at least on clearance. It wasn't your mistake and it is your money so return the concealer!!
Yes they do take cosmetics back as long as its not used, same thing happened to me with an estee lauder concear, it was a straight exchange ❤
Yes, take it back. I bought a product in a different city (Oxford), it was the wrong one & I took it back to a Boots near my home in Durham. No problem whatsoever 😍
Definitely return the concealer to any Boots. I bought a No.7 concealer online and picked the colour using their foundation match service and it was way too light - took it back to my local branch with no issues 👍🏻
Totally agree to return the concealer especially if not opened or used! Thanks for the haul and would love to hear a review on the hair mask(in place of conditioners)
Omg definitely return the concealer! As someone who used to work in makeup, it wouldn’t surprise me if the girl who served you went to the drawer to get you the correct concealer and realised they were out of stock and gave you the most similar alternative thinking you wouldn’t notice so that she didn’t miss out on the sale. May have been an honest mistake but either way return it, boots won’t care they’re really good at returning anything you’re not happy with x
Think this happened to me once when I was given the palest shade of foundation and I needed a medium shade
My frizzy blonde coloured hair really responded to the Voduz products Shampoo, conditioner, heat protection spray and the oil, 💝💚💚💚 and no product build up, 💝

yes take it back iv done it before when iv bought something and then I git back ti my home and it was not the right one and then go in the shop and there was no problem changing it
Yes you can take it back as wrong item given! On the the eyeshadow front I think have had some palettes for 10 years! Still going strong! 🙈 prob bad but I think with powder they don’t go off as fast! I did throw a few away a while back as I noticed a bit of eye irritation with those. Some I can’t bear to part with and they were expensive 😂

Usually if you don't break the seal or open the concealer you can return it and if you don't wait to long
yes they definitely will take it back! They've been brilliant with me in the past for a similar situation :)
I recently found the fenty mascara- it’s great. I also like their face wash. I would return the concealer to any boots, just explain they’ll take it back

I think all skincare brands and make up brands should give you an exchange on products if they arent suitable for your skin and/or if the products dont achieve their claimed results.
It would be a mark of how serious they are over producing effective products.
I think some makeup brands may offers this? Maybe Charlotte Tilbury?

As long as the seal is intact they should accept the return. They also accept returns if a product has caused a bad reaction.
Yes boots absolutely exchange it , I have returned and exchanged make up a few times xx
I think for boots and spacenk they are quite good with returning! you also haven't used it so it should be fine! I literally went to spacenk to exchange a lipstick and the lady was even happy to change a new one or I could just pick up another brand to try.
spacenk is good with lightly used within the 28 day of purchase it turned out to be the formula of the lipstick so I kept it but the experience was very non fussy
Maybe you could try to change the concealer at your local Boots? Nothing lost from trying. For the sam reason Always check shoe sizes before wearing them! Thank you for the video!

But their customer service has become very lax since they were bought out by THG a couple of years ago.
THG also own Asda, Tesco & WH Smith.
It's quite sad that such a great company now ranks along side TESCO!

You should try the Clinique moisture surge lip balm. It’s brilliant!
Have you tried the jo malone intense lip balm - it's amazing too
The qlinique mascara is really good, and they have it in brown! For lips I highly recommend Sara Happ lip slip!

In the UK they return it if you have the wrong shade as long as it’s sealed xx

For your hair try olaplex 3 and k18, they both helped with my frizzy, very dry hair.

Anyone else noticed everyone has been for an ‘impromptu’ shop at boots this last week. Fleur, Meggan Grubb and Molly-Mae just out of the people I follow…. Haven’t watched this one yet but if she buys Lee Stafford products there’s something strange happening. 🤔🤔

Had a face mask from boots that smelt so strong even in my bathroom it was like a candle burning and it stung my face so I took it back and boots refunded me

I think anyone who buys makeup, rather than gets it gifted all the time,knows makeup can be exchanged 🙄
