Well the uniform at my school is just so boring and ugly🤦🏻♀️
So I’m so jealous of her😖
Most Japanese school uniforms are greyscale or tan tones and pretty boring and low key ugly, this school's uniform is very different by having some colors and pattern too and the skirt is not an awkward length like most, so it's not necessarily "Japanese uniforms" that look nice, it's "this school's uniform" which looks nice imo (I mean I'm from Japan and I wore the standard ugly school uniforms and I think the uniform she wore is so nice so I wouldn't say it's about Japanese uniforms in general)

For anyone who has not lived in Japan, I just want to let you know that this school is NOT like the typical Japanese school. As a Japanese person myself watching, I was surprised one scene after another because it's so different from most Japanese schools and definitely different from the ones I attended. (Get ready for a long list of things this girl's school had which is different from most schools) We usually can't wear makeup, dye or style hair, uniforms are mostly greyscale or tan and not much color or pattern, can't have hair below the shoulders (at my school we had the execption of being allowed to have long hair as long as when you tie it up it's not below the shoulders, but some schools won't even give that exception because sometimes people need to fix their hair when it's tied and fixing it will distract from learning basically so they wouldn't allow it) bangs can't be lower than eyebrows (because it will cover the face, harder to identify each student) can't have phone (and airpods like she was wearing,) skirt is knee length or lower, and you can't stop by places on your way back from school (like you just have to walk or take public transportation back to your home directly from school or club and not go anywhere before getting home. You can actually easily get caught and get in trouble for doing this because you would be wearing your uniform or club clothes so it surprised me that this girl was going to get boba in her uniform since I guess in their school it's fine)

That is very different from my school in Norway. Lolololol, we don’t need to wear uniforms, we can have whatever length of hair we want, we can have makeup but not a ton of makeup though and there aren’t too much dress codes rather than not being allowed crop tops that show too much tummy.
To have a aesthetic high school life
Step 1: have cute friends
Step 2: pretty uniforms and makeup
Step 3: can use bring camera/phone
Who cares if my friends are ugly, all I care id that they are loyal and trustworthy friends. Not the fakers.

they usually aren't allowed to but some schools allow it, though its very rare.
its usually not allowed at all. its in the rules in most schools. but tbh as long as it isnt as brown or blonde, if its like natural then they wont mind. and the teachers dont mind once ur in like junior senior year.

To everyone in the comments saying stuff like "Wowww Japanese school looks so fun and cool I wish I was born in Japan" and all that...remember that this video is one, very different from most Japanese schools so it doesn't represent most Japanese schools (I am a Japanese and attended Japanese school until I moved to US recently, trust me, this school is WAY different from most schools), and two, this video just shows the highlight of school like her lovely friends and lunch breaks and those fun stuff of school and not the insane amount of hours that go into studying and all most of the time or like a lot of the teachers being extremely harsh and stuff, and take into consideration that this is her last day of school so of course it's more chill. I'm telling y'all, Japanese school SUCKS for the most part (not everything about it but for the most part it's so hard!!!😭) I think every country's school has some positives and negatives but as someone currently attending American school, I can tell you American school isn't the best but it's definitely easier. Anyways don't romanticize or dream about going to Japanese school, every country has it's ups and downs in everything not just school and you will most likely find something you dislike about Japanese school after being there for a little bit😅

I saw them putting on makeup for school and I was like you can do that?! Most schools in Asia, especially Japan and Korea, usually don't allow you to wear makeup or points will be deducted. So, you can wear makeup, if you wanna risk your grade and a$$ being beat when you come home😭I went to school in Vietnam for summer school (I'm Vietnamese who grew up in the States). I went to a typical Viet school. No exchange students or international students and I ... had no friends... I was teased for knowing more English than my native tongue... I wasn't bullied but I was treated like some EXOTIC thing lmao 😭😂😂
