To be honest, studying abroad is not a dream at all. I studied/complete my high school year in the US and all that time I was still adapting and didn't make a tons of long lasting friends or if any at all. It was really difficult to adapt because at the first months, all you can do is eat alone and be alone all the time. The worse part is when I do know the answer that's the teacher's asking but I couldn't put it in words. Back in the Philippines, our school rarely asked us to speak in English. So, it's pretty difficult for me to adapt. This also means that you'll need to learn Japanese in order to communicate well because if not your grades wouldn't really match up with your corresponding intelligence.
Besides that if you randomly transfer to a japanese school they wont like you because they think your their because your an otaku and just wanta cheap manga and stuff

I like how students are tasked with cleaning at the end of the day to teach them respect for the place you're learning at and life lessons. But America is different lol
its also like thag here in philippines. our teacher assigns us into 5 groups for 5 school days each week. then each groups will have a leader to assign each member to different chores. We clean in morning before class starts and afternoon and the end of the class

I really want to experience the life of a Japanese high schooler, it's all I ever dreamed of. Even if it's temporary, even if it's only a day TT. They start later than mine, stylish and comfortable uniform, they have a tv???, allowed to bring phones, etc.

I'm not sure if you're a Filipino or not but, just an honest opinion, as a Filipino who's currently studying Japanese for about a month now, it's easier to study Japanese when you're a Filipino because as I study Japanese I see some similarities compare to English which you rarely see similarties to the Japanese language. One of the similarites of JP and PH language is the particles. In Filipino we have, for example, the word "man" which really doesn't mean anything but totally makes sense when used in a sentence. And in Japanese they have は(wa), を(o), etc which are called particles that don't mean anything but make sense when used in a sentence. Also, Filipinos have "po" and "opo" to respect elderly and people with higher position and in Japanese they have this thing called, "keigo"(not sure about the spelling) which works kinda different compare to "po" and "opo". It is when you put "desu" in sentences. And in Japanese it is waaay easy to construct sentences. Trust me.

In Japan it's the norm to use pencil for schoolwork but here in Philippines I was called out for using a pencil (I lost my ballpen) and was told only children who can't write well use them.. Like wtf lmao that's gotta be the reason why many of my classmates notebooks (including mine) looks like shit with lots of erasure and mistakes

Yeah because they train you to be more precise and accurate in terms of writing notes and listening. Since no one wants messy handwritten notes its inevitable for us to be more cautious when writing which can help us be more aware of spelling, and be more attentive to what the teacher’s saying. At least that’s what my school aims to do.

Our school required us to wear a uniform that's made of thin silk and i feel uncomfortable wearing it because it can literally see your skin because of how thin they give our uniform...so i wear a shirt :> and its so...hot 😵
