Thankyou so much for the info, Ive got the same problem , but instead im thinking of drilling through the snapped bolt from underneath through to the boot and replacing it with a more thicker and stronger high tensile bolt that will fit the mount and seat it with a thick washer with rubber and hope it makes more accessible and easier works for future maintanence if it snaps again
Hey glad to hear it bro, yeah the milwaukee cordless cutting tool looks like nice little tool i bet it did work well i just happened to have the dremel on hand but after look up the milwaukee im going to have to get one of those lol.

Hey brother sorry I just saw this my dad bought the welder used from a friend It take a flux core 0.030 wire it runs pretty good I’ve had good luck with it for what it is wouldn’t weld over 3/16 with it since its only a 110
dude so sorry i didnt respond sooner im sure you already figured this out but no i didnt have to use heat it popped right out i hope everything worked out for you God bless
welding it is the best way to make sure it doesn't vibrate loose, but you can just drop it in and tighten and it will work i would use a lock washer under the head of the bolt to help it not vibrate loose
Thanks for your reply. I might use a lock washer and JB weld combo. Did you have to cut the welds or the head of the bolt off to be able to knock it out with the hammer?
I have the same problem but I don't have a welder or access to one. Do you think washers/lock washers combination would be enough? I don't think so but don't know what else to do
How did you go? Did you go with lock washers? If so, would you mind explaining that set up I’m in the same boat as you and I don’t have access to a welder and I know nothing about lock washers
I ran into the same problem and I was thinking of doing the exact same thing thank you

You are awesome this work, so well I went and bought the Milwaukee cordless cutting tool, and I had the job done in less than 10 minutes

Did you have too use heat on the bolt, before hitting it with the hammer?, as I'm in the same situation..

Is it imperative that the bolt gets welded in place? I don’t have access to a welder are there any other options?

They will. The torque spec is not high on these bolts
Have somebody hold the bolt on top with a wrench while you tighten the mount
