I found a local artist who perfectly understood Lévi's Baphomet and made a custom pendant that I wear religiously. It's beautiful. It has the wax and wane of the moon, the pentagram and hexagram, "Solve" and "Coagula", all in their place around the goat skull. The hourglass sits above the head. I have it on a coarse string so every movement reminds me of its presence.
Direct, honest and without conjecture. When information is offered without the inference of personal ideology we can all benefit from it. When you approach a subject matter with an instilled personal slant going into it, the information is already skewed before it is being presented. You shatter the norm, by simply addressing the topic outside of opinion -------- This was an excellent video.
To me, Lévi sounds like an example of someone with a fairly high degree of esoteric knowledge, wisdom, and compassionate social awareness, but who was still under the influence of specific cultural biases. While my life experience leads me to favor a monistic view of a “Universal Truth,” beyond/encompassing all dualities, that may be apprehended via mystical states of consciousness, I view that Truth as transcending dogmatic claims regarding, for example, the existence of a singular “True Religion,” whether Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, or what have you. One tribe evolves a way of life and spiritual system that works well for them, and a different tribe evolves a different way that is just a legitimate for their own context. The One expresses its innate freedom through diversity - while religious/cultural/economic homogeneity lends itself to totalitarianism and unsustainability.
i absolutely agree with your perspective; all those different spiritual systems are equally valid expressions of the ultimate Truth. i also find it interesting how we come from completely different backgrounds and still came to the same conclusion!

Any thoughts on the similarities between Astral Light, the Holy Spirit ,and Kundalini ? You have gotten things wrong. "baphomet" is not the same as the goat. the goat of sabbath is levi's own making which. the baphomet was worshipped back in 1000's of direct inspiration of the old arabian world.

I wonder if there's any actual good analysis on trans people being associated with Baphomet, androgyny, and other hermaphroditic deities without being written from a transphobic and transmisogynior perspective.

I know that there is a story about two goats that Abraham and Aaron sacrificed to the God and to the Azazel. If you want to know the secret of the true religion Levi spoke you you may, imo, want to check out the work of Bob Greenyer at the Martin Fleishman Memorial Institute. Modern science has also stumbled upon these truths I think but the language and presentation is obvs diff. Same phenomena, diff paradigms to understand it. Hes on YT. The Symbology in Baphomet as Levi describes him is seen in the analysis of Plasma on steel and basically represents Alchemical transformation of one matter to another. At least in a material sense. Spiritually of course this is also possible ie as above so below but it seems to be a physical understanding thus far.

I had a dream a few months ago where in my dream I was asleep and awoke to see baphomet sitting at the foot of my bed watching me sleep. I wasn't afraid, I was curious and just stared at him calmly...what could it mean
35 years ago I had the opposite dream. It was a stinking hot night in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺. I awoke in a room with a fire and a beautiful fire place. It was a magnificent room. I slowly saw a marvellous Being. He was 12 feet tall, draped in scarlet and yellow and held a flaming sword in his right hand. This amazing Being then walked over to a desk. On it was a beautifully bound book. This amazingly stunning Being turned a page and on it were sigilscI had never seen before. Sigil The first sigil this marvellous Being pointed too instantly took me to the age of 14. I was in my oldcschool principals office discussing pertinent religious matters. When I woke up I knew it was more than just a dream. I at the time was taught by a Master. No . . . he didn't stand up and say I'm a Master. This Master and teacher advised me that the beautiful Being I observed was the 'real me. ' That's what my Soul and actual Being looks like ! If I were to remove all my sin and Karma I would incarnate into this Being. The raised Right hand with the Flaming Sword meant thst my Angel was active within me. The Master concluded that a similar experience would be the Baphomet sitting at the end of your bed. You felt no fear as you too, are a latent Master. You too have to incarnate your Being. You do this my eradicating all your Egos You then meditate and learn to Astral Project. In conclusion, it wasn't a dream. You awoke in the 4th or 5th Dimension, hence you saw the Baphomet. .

This is a good video. I appreciate the topic, I find Eliphas Levi interesting. He has some really good writings. There was one book he wrote in particular that was really well done, I think it was called "Transcendental Magick"
Any thoughts on the similarities between Astral Light, the Holy Spirit ,and Kundalini ? I have been Mesmerized several times, and the experience has always left me utterly perplexed by the mysterious nature of what had happened (what is the 'force' or energy that I had experienced.) I've wondered if there isn't some equivalency between The Holy Spirit, Kundalini, and Magnetic fluid/Astral Light -- perhaps they're just different names for the same thing ?

You have gotten things wrong. "baphomet" is not the same as the goat. the goat of sabbath is levi's own making which. the baphomet was worshipped back in 1000's of direct inspiration of the old arabian world.

Ohh I was listening to a podcast episode about Hellbound: Hellraiser, and they were talking about Jamie Clayton being the new pinhead for the remake and what they thought about it and something mentioned by the host that really piqued my interest in what she said is how Trans people being associated with the image of Baphomet, has really piqued my interest, and never thought of that as a trans woman myself. so now I'm wanting to explore that idea and imagery especially with the concept of just my very existence entirely blowing down the fragile flimsy house of cards of cis heteronormativity.
I wonder if there's any actual good analysis on trans people being associated with Baphomet, androgyny, and other hermaphroditic deities without being written from a transphobic and transmisogynior perspective.
Very insightful, thankyou, however, did you find out why is it a goat? And did Levi meant it to be a devil? I know that there is a story about two goats that Abraham and Aaron sacrificed to the God and to the Azazel. I imagine that Baphomet is a symbol of the goat that was sent into desert to bring sins of Hebrews to the Azazel - the fallen angel, who was blamed for the sins of party of 200 angels who landed on earth and was thrown into the pit of darkness and suffering.

Interesting. The symbol and material explanation does not describe this being in the astral or spiritual plane. Intellectualizing the spiritual never works.
If you want to know the secret of the true religion Levi spoke you you may, imo, want to check out the work of Bob Greenyer at the Martin Fleishman Memorial Institute. Modern science has also stumbled upon these truths I think but the language and presentation is obvs diff. Same phenomena, diff paradigms to understand it. Hes on YT. The Symbology in Baphomet as Levi describes him is seen in the analysis of Plasma on steel and basically represents Alchemical transformation of one matter to another. At least in a material sense. Spiritually of course this is also possible ie as above so below but it seems to be a physical understanding thus far.

I had a dream a few months ago where in my dream I was asleep and awoke to see baphomet sitting at the foot of my bed watching me sleep. I wasn't afraid, I was curious and just stared at him calmly...what could it mean

This Master and teacher advised me that the beautiful Being I observed was the 'real me. ' That's what my Soul and actual Being looks like !
If I were to remove all my sin and Karma I would incarnate into this Being.
The raised Right hand with the Flaming Sword meant thst my Angel was active within me.
The Master concluded that a similar experience would be the Baphomet sitting at the end of your bed.
You felt no fear as you too, are a latent Master. You too have to incarnate your Being.
You do this my eradicating all your Egos
You then meditate and learn to Astral Project.
In conclusion, it wasn't a dream.
You awoke in the 4th or 5th Dimension, hence you saw the Baphomet. .
