Correct! its alot better for outside uses around the braai because it doesn't attracts moths and mosquitoes. Plus, its not a blaring red light which means its great for keeping your eyes adjusted to the darkness if you are game viewing at night time or fishing. 😊
EDIT: Don't use fast chargers like those of modern day phones - use USB or battery bank to charge.. Lucky bugger! We bought the 3 pack offer about 5 months ago, no red LED feature. I'm curious to know how your battery is holding up tho, mine is basically shot after just 5 months of use when going on walks at night. When it was new I got 6h (3 x 2h walks) with the LED strip, now I barely get 2h... I've used it in this manner no more than 20 times so I fail to understand how it is that the battery is already so far gone... Gutted, I need to check the date of purchase, I pray I'm right and that it's still under warranty!
Thanks for the message Stefan. Oh dear, it seems you may have purchased an interior brand of product. Please read your label and packaging from the headlamp. Does it state "LUMENO" or is it a close variation? That should give you an answer as to why the battery is draining faster than it should. Remember LUMENO. Not anything else. We hope that helps.🤓😎
@@CaravanOutdoorLife It's definitely the genuine product. I recently tried charging it again but this time from a battery bank. It charged up fully and now seems to hold its charge. I was using my Samsung charger before, these fast chargers are probably pushing to much current so the headlamp likely cuts the charge to protect itself.
@@stefanbachrodt7072 Thanks for the feedback Stefan. yeah, chargers and charge cables aren't all cut from the same cloth. Your are quite correct. For example, you get 1.2a, 1.5a and 2 Amp chargers. Then you get a few variables of cable too. Some that charge only, some that also transmit data and others that are slow charge. (depending on the thickness of and quality of cables used) so depending on your Cable and charger and the quality of them both does affect device charging status. nice interesting topic suggestion and feedback for our community. Thank you.
Good, informative video, I like it.
Thanks for the support Divhani! We apricate comments like that! 😎😎🤠
The red light is something new
