When I first saw the ammo can, I thought NO...will not look right on that nice bike. But holy shit, you knocked it outta the park. Looks like they belong just fine with that amazing paint job. Excellent work!!

First thing I did was put an air pump, some tools and a plug kit in the can!!
Awesome job. Those look real familiar. If you will go to Wally World and get some flat magnets and put them on under side of handle they won’t rattle.

Try some 40mm grenade cans.
Are those regular 50 or fat 50’s? Regular 50’s will fit inside Fat 50’s. Mine are Fat 50’s.

Great creative way to hold boxes up while marking holes. There's never anyone around when you need an extra set of hands. Boxes turned out great!

that came out good, been thinking of doing that with 50mm cans. they have a flat case you could use as a top case also. was checking that out too.

Left side just get tie downs fix that easy, in fact id prob do both sides like lefts so your lights aint covered.

What are the brackets? And where did you get them?
I searched saddlebag brackets on eBay.
What angle brackets did you use to mount up?
I used a saddlebag mount I found on eBay.
Are those bolts on the rearfender aftermarket mine are not long enogh to put that bracket on
yes i took it down to lowes and got some bolts that would work. They had a limited selection of metric but I got it

How's the paint job holding up now
It is actually holding up pretty well. The handles on the top have scratched up a little paint. but over all I am happy with how its holding up
