- This wonderful hill is only 1546feet - 471meters - and the full walk shown here is 7miles - 11km - and passes through both old and new forests to a summit with great views of the surrounding Moray area and the famous River Spey, with it's enigmatic crossing the Boat o' Brig.

An update on thoughts about the circular ground markings at the summit. Perhaps it was the original cairn before the Trig Point was built in the 1950s. I doubt that markings could survive for over 70 years, but maybe the old cairn was only completely moved much more recently.
