Jon, I'll take today to fill you in; The Oubliette made those prison cells look like fairly cushy 3 star hotel rooms. An Oubliette was a cramped prison chamber with only one entrance at the top, designed specifically so that the prisoner couldn't climb out. They were frequently full of the bodies of the dead people that were locked in the oubliette to die before you, and also occasionally open to the elements. Apparently there was evidence of some prisoners in the oubliette drowning. Some oubliettes were not large enough for the occupants to stand up, or to lay down in. A non-zero-percent of the time, people were put in, and forgotten about 'til they died. Just in case you were wondering what happened to your political prisoners. :D

An oubliette is basically a big hole in the back of the dungeon that you drop prisoners into. Think solitary confinement, but instead of padded walls and bright lights it's nothing but cold stone and complete darkness.
Jon that note you read, highlighting the daughters' weakness to cold, also specifically stated that Castle Dimitrescu was staffed only by women, so all those enemies you referred to as _"he"_ or _"lad"_ were ladies. On another note, the one thing Ethan does more in these games than suffer _'Agony of the hands'_ is sloooowly push big double-doors open when entering new areas, doors which can then be walked through in either direction as easily as though they were curtains...

Instead they have a bunch of very American sounding VAs, including one who thinks he's Nicolas Cage. Kinda disappointing, really.

But you're right, 'Dimitrescu' is indeed a Romanian last name and the 'u' should be pronounced. My grandmother's last name was 'Stanescu' before marriage and the 'u' is pronounced. Guess it got lost in translation. :/

Jon never uses melee in games unless it's for a stealth kill in VATS, or he's forced to, and he'll have ammo limitations all throughout as a result.

No, that's a dungeon where you sent people to be tortured. An oubliette is a deep hole/cell with the entrance on the ceiling where you literally throw people in and leave them to starve/die of their injuries hence the negative health debuff.

Yeah in 7 he gets infected by the Mold, which makes you regenerate at incredible rates, especially when aided by that liquid medicine
This isn't even the first time he loses a limb and reattach it, it happens in a cutscene in 7

Jon, you can check on an item if they are Valuable. If they are you can sell them. Combinable can be combined with Another item to be more valuable.
