Thank you so much! CAD data management tips are great.

Processes and CAD data management are so important. I just saw a situation in which poor modeling plus data management resulted in a cost of $10k and a week's time.

I'm sorry that your college class wasn't good, but I'm glad that my videos are helping.

Awesome! Thank you so much. The tip at the very end was new info to me, and that is actually where I would run into a lot of trouble in the past (trying to "save as" a family table from within Creo)

Sean, glad to know that helps. Up until recently, I used to initiate all my Save As operations from Creo. But it turns out Windchill offers a lot more ability than Creo. Also when I've tried to Save As assemblies with Skeletons and lots of Data Sharing Features, I've often struggled doing this in Creo, but it turns out Windchill is much better in that area as well.

@@CADPLMGuy Great to know. Would you typically access Windchill from a separate web browser for this type of activity or would you go through the "folder browser" tab next to the model tree within Creo?

I could have sworn I replied to this - maybe I tried on my phone and it didn't take. If I'm performing the operation from the Commonspace, I will usually do it from a stand alone web browser, simply because it's easier to read than the embedded browser. But for any actions I take from the workspace, I prefer to do it from the embedded browser to ensure that it is linked to my workspace cache. (Stand alone web browsers are not linked to the Creo Parametric cache.)
