Had a husky for 14-15 years. They get very very chill in the second part of their life, it's like totally different personalities.
Very dramatic, always escaping, always crying for anything that annoys them and then they become calm, not trying to escape anymore, still curious but not that much and even a bit lazy which is completely normal when you're passed a certain age :D. They just learn to chill at some point...
Holly is a queen who has been waiting for this spa day her whole damn life.

That could be because you are not a native English speaking person, there was nothing "factually wrong" with your comment, but you commented as if the original comment was wrong.
In that sense YOU are WRONG, the owner did an excellent job at breaking the "stereotype".

Yes!! This was just her first professional groom :) she gets baths and we brush her daily. But when we bathe her she starts screaming like we’re trying to kill her LOL. She’s a closet diva

I am not so sure. She's quite fat. If you can't exercise your husky enough (and most people cannot) you shouldn't have one.

"Surprisingly holly has not started singing yet." Lol exactly. Huskies always have something to say. Their voice stands out more than a Basset hound, and that's high praise. Great groom and good girl.
Brushing my husky was almost a daily experience when she started shedding. She was the runt of the litter and didn't have much of an undercoat but you could still make a whole other dog out of the excess fur. Thankfully she would stay still for it, actually I think she actually felt the relief of it. Every summer she would come in my room with the wire brush in her mouth as if to say "It's time."
I think at 12 years old she ain't got time for all that screaming. Probably was like "Hurry up and do your thing so I can get out of here" Lol

Dogs are so funny. My mini-poodles love mud puddles and swimming in the back bay brackish water. But if there's two drops of rain when it's time for them to go out potty they turn around and run back to their beds. Also the shower head for their baths don't make them happy either.
All the poodles I've had get treated like real dogs and regular long hikes have kept them dirty, happy, and healthy.
My German Shepherd swims in rivers, herds cows and goats and splashing in mud at the same time but when it comes to bath time he puts on all the breaks and tries to dance his way out the tub.
The dog said:. I am relaxed. I am well behaved because my owner taught me so. This groomer is a sweet and beautiful professional lady. ❤️ I want my owner to bring me here again..

This makes me more encouraged about taking my 3 year old husky to the groomers. She's had one bath in her year with us and the neighbours come over to ask if she was okay. Hopefully she'll be as good as Holly

“*Professionally*” judging by how calm she was her owners probably just groomed her themselves.
Keyword was "profesionally." Meaning, her owners were taking care of her, just not taking her to a groomer.

Same here...had a husky growing up and was a pain to bath. Sad to say though it's around this age 12/13yr he went downhill and gone by 14yr old.
She’s always been extremely relaxed and such an angel 90% of the time. But don’t be fooled she has her daily husky screaming tantrums with us LOL. It depends on her mood, she can be a total diva

Holly used to be very skinny and could barely gain weight! It ended up being a condition that caused estrogen toxicity that was causing this and almost killed her. Luckily our vet performed a life saving surgery that had a side effect of hormonal weight gain. Lots of it. The vet warned us of this and told us it would be extremely hard for her to lose the weight. But be assured she gets lots of exercise and is a happy healthy girl!

I have three huskies
and bathing each one of them is a different process
One of them is a scaredy-cat
Another one is clingy and feisty
And the oldest one is the chillest
yep, I feel like grooming and vet visit manners are just a gambled trait when a dog is born xD all my german shepherds are trained fairly well but are complete opposites when it comes to grooming and bathing.
I wish my friends had huskies
so the age/experience brings more calmness in behavior?
@@prathameshtakane7354 In my situation yes, since they eventually get more used to it. Tho I have a husky who is adopted (she wasn’t raised with us) and the past owners didn’t seem to have educated her well, so whenever I try to bathe her she is either overly clingy and wants me to bathe with her (this being she won’t get wet if I don’t get wet, and proceeds to shake the water off until i’m soaked) or she is feisty and a bit more aggressive when touching certain areas. In the other hand the youngest is a scaredy-cat, but still remains still even tho he whines.
They all have their own personality, but I would say age tends to calm them down a bit, since one would bathe them often they slowly get used to it.

Most likely not a pure bread. I have 2 pure bread Siberian Husky’s and they talk like the little demons in my head lol.
I also saw how she shaved the sanitary areas and trimmed the paws. Huskys are not ment to be cut at all do to it damaging there coat. They also are work dogs so the hair under there feet helps them in the winter snow.

she's 12 years old... she probably mellowed out years ago with the help of really good training and just because this was her first professional grooming I'm sure she had baths at home otherwise she would have started the video out a sad, blackish, madded up, filthy mess. Dog's really do mellow out as they age, some more then others and you can have 2 puppies from the same litter with completely different tempers and personalities.

It should be noted for anyone looking into getting a Siberian or dog with an undercoat - they have a serious wax on their undercoat shed. I’m super impressed how chill this husky is!

SHE'S SO FLOOFY!!!! That is the floofiest husky I have ever seen! And in the wisdom of old age, she realizes that the person her people have brought her to means well. My family had an old dog who would stop and lift the offended paw whenever a burr ended up stuck in one. Smart old girl. I miss her.
