Hey, I went to the exact location last month and it was a great experience, if anyone is thinking about going to the border, I recommend to take a taxi instead of a train, it's really cheap and much more easier to travel with than a train. It’s not that inconvenient by train. Taxi costs would only be cheaper if going in a group of at least 4 people. 😇

If I am north korean I would go to the mountain through China
I don’t think it is that simple though. If they get caught, they would be sent back to North Korea. Hard to escape using that route. 😅
