But there are many trains between Shenyang and Harbin so high speed train is the best way to go. 3) I just wanted to escape the heat of Singapore so I felt that May was comfortable enough to do city walk since weather was cool but not cold. But if you want to see snow scenery, of course you need to go during winter.

@@mattball9449 I landed at international airport, should be terminal 3. Are you transferring from international to domestic flight or international to another international flight ?

@@mylivingbubbleI’m doing an international flight to a domestic flight, London to shenyang via Beijing for the transfer

@@mattball9449 then your process would be similar as me. You would need to clear immigration. Actually Terminal 3C is for domestic flights and 3E is for international flights. So they are in two different buildings. Still need to use the monorail between the terminals

Yes it does. The signs were in English and Mandarin.

Based on what I know, baxiandong wharf is for river crossing and not able to see the Buddha. To see giant Buddha, there are 2 wharves: wuyou temple and jiazhoudu. When I went, water level was low, so only wuyou temple wharf was operational.

You may use metro line 19 that connects the two airports.

I prefer Nikko, as it has more nature and culture to offer. But Nikko probably need at least 1.5 days to visit all the waterfalls, lakes, temples and shrines. Karuizawa would be good for a day trip.

@@winthawko2804 I didn’t reclaim my baggage in Beijing since I took another flight to Shenyang. I only transit through Beijing Airport.

@@mylivingbubble I am also gonna ride AirChina soon with Beijing transit to Chongqing . But, they said I have to reclaim at Beijing airport coz there is no check-through.

@@winthawko2804 oh if your ticket doesn’t include check through, I think you need at least 3-4 hours transit time. The immigration already took about 1.5 hours.

@@xploit811 I didn’t experience any. But I took it in May. These months, flights were affected by typhoon, monsoon etc. Weather conditions may be unpredictable as well.

@@xploit811 i am not sure, as I am unfamiliar with routes between China and Middle East. So far I didn’t hear any bad news about flights between Doha and Beijing, so I guess it should be ok ?

@@nahidhasan4621 I booked the flight for Singapore - Shenyang using Air China, so no need to claim baggage in Beijing. If use different carrier or book the trips separately, then need to claim baggage.

@@mylivingbubble Thanks. My flight is for Dhaka-Chengdu via Beijing transit through Air China, so that's why I asked.

Oh, then you won’t need to claim baggage. As long as there is at least 2 hours transit time, it should be fine. The immigration to transfer plane could take some time.

It’s not that inconvenient by train. Taxi costs would only be cheaper if going in a group of at least 4 people. 😇

@@winthawko2804 Firstly, there are ticket machines in the station to buy tickets. You can use cash or mobile payments. Secondly, you can use the transport QR code in Alipay App to scan at the gantry. It’s quite easy and it would be clearer when you are there. 😇

I don’t, as mine is a Singapore passport. So I have 30 day visa free to China. So it depends on the visa requirements of your nationality.
